Osimhen actually helped Lookman settle in fast in the GWG
They should just continue being good team mates

I agree with him
Lookman is easily an €80M player
An upgrade on Gakpo and would easily start in any of the top 3 EPL sides, sentiments aside
Look man, that no look pass from Lookman was cooked from a book man.

After all the adrenaline and exuberance.
Looking back at that Lookman chance, he should have passed.

Had he missed.
I remember questioning Lookman shooting instead of passing against Betis.

Now against Barça. Why did Alvarez pass here?

Elite decision making by both, but had that pass been intercepted.

Imagine no AFCON in mid season, Atalanta would have made it look like Lookman was good for nothing. Look at the moves our players made.

Yet Motsepe and his goons think a quadriennial tournament has more benefits
Don’t mind motsepe am sure once another CAF president emerge he will reverse that decision

Afcon happening every two years is developing our players better look at Senegal and even civ if Afcon was every four years would they have won the number of trophies they have now?

One thing I never understand about the remontada is this:

Why didn't PSG players get 5 players sent off and forfeit the match 3-0 rather than lose 6-1.

Because I know if Barca score 2 at Camp Nou Simeone would order his son and 4 others to not leave the pitch without getting the match forfeited

🚨 FIFA’s ruling on Nigeria’s petition against DR Congo over player ineligibility in the World Cup Play-offs is expected in the coming days!

February 16th has been mentioned as a potential date for the decision 👀⚖️
All eyes on this one the stakes are high! 🇳🇬🌍

Whatever criticism we want to level against Motsepe, we must acknowledge that he's brought some kind of glamor to the competition.

Afcon is now a global attention grabbing event

But is it Motsepe that brought the glamour really? I agree about the financial aspect but the glamour?

It's an admixture of drama, upsets, bloopers, big names, facilities and finally, netizens finding the tournament a means of making Musk/YT money.

If Afcon becomes every 4 years that glamour will be gone. There’s no point bringing glamour and watch it evaporate quickly!

Mujtahida:
This is not banter. This is deliberately geared to create rivalry between Lookman and Osimhen. Oliseh will soon release his next podcast and hop on the trend.

You think it is banter because you are not Osimhen. We act like children, we never think of the big picture, we never put ourselves in the shoes of the other man to know how our actions, our words affect him.

I don't need to defend bad governance. It comes from our attitude as a people. The same attitude where instead of creating harmony, we create dysfunction, we create chaos, we create yama yama. So instead of condemning bad governance, I point at our attitude - you, me, everyone.

It's often said that the way you do one thing is the way you do everything.
Don't you think both sides are guilty of this. Which originated from the AFCON incident.

Hope you guys know that one of the major reasons for shifting AFCON to a 4-year tournament is because of poor finances.

African countries struggle to provide facilities to host the tournament

Morocco themselves postponed the tournament demanding for more time.

Nigeria has been playing hide and seek, we can't host to save our lives

Nigerians are such ingrates I swear, Osimhen has sweated and bled every time he puts on the GWG but as he leaves the field it's all cajoles and mockery from the general populace, I could never be a professional footballer

It’s an opportunity for countries to upgrade their infrastructure if they are wise. As we speak countries like Ethiopia, SA and of course Morocco are bidding to host the 2028 edition.

Afcon every two years actually provides more financial incentives, making it every four years will make African football poorer as no other football competition in the continent can generate revenue like the Afcon

you do know we have been bidding for afcon and we keep losing the bids. See one example.
Although i concede to your point on the poor finance ish. There are speculations the next afcon in kenya and Uganda may be pushed due to funding issues. While caf cant build stadiums for countries, they need to find a lasting solution to this funding issue.
