This is Arsenal time

Arsenal is suffering from near success syndrome.

Clearly the momentum is with City and it is 'likely' they will pip Arsenal to the tape.

I look at small details and mix them in with age old truisms.

And a poignant one I observed in the latest round of matches lead to my conclusion.

Indeed: 'Attacks win matches, defenses win trophies'

Arsenal has seen a steady decline in the quality of it's defence over the course of the season, increasingly conceding avoidable goals and in the last match the stalwart of that defence, Gabriel himself appeared very jittery. It is the sign of the times. Pressure to perform.

City on the other hand has addressed their defensive problems a d looked at lot steadier is their last match.

They have a better quality balance between scoring goals and keeping them out and with their experi nce of winning things the momentum is clearly on their side.

The problem with Arsenal is that I don't know their problem.
