For me it was during this one campus protest in varsity, normally during our usual protests, I'd make sure to either position myself at the back, or in the middle of the crowd just so I can easily run for cover the moment the police start throwing their tear gas or firing rubber bullets at us.

That day I don't know what got to me that I positioned myself at the front, I don't know if I was high in the Economic Freedom Fighters Students Command's revolutionary songs or what, because those comrades could sing and their protests carried weight... ... One of the things that had me invested in campus politics was their revolutionary music...

The police positioned themselves and as they started firing rubber bullets and tear gas at us, we dispersed for cover and while I was still in the process of taking cover, I was shot twice, one on my thigh and the other on my butt, I felt the second one that hit my butt knocking out all my dreams and hopes of becoming a comrade, and as if that wasn't enough, a third one hit my back and it was a final nail in the coffin... Those things hurt, I spent the entire week sitting with only one butt cheek... That was my biggest mistake.

For the young kings, never spend your first big bag on family. I paid so much black tax and ended back where I came from, like I never left because I wanted to be a 'good child'. Paid over 6 million worth of loans for my mum. Spent another 3 million trying to set her up. All went down the drain. Funny thing, the stupid hag keeps calling me for loans I know nothing about. After we lost over #450m in last minute dropped deals in 2025, I tried not to mount financial pressure on my boss. But tell me why I casually saw payment receipts from 2024 issued by the office to the govt ministry when I did all the work and my boss been acting like the ministry hadn't paid all this while. The job was small sum. #10m. meant to be a start for bigger contracts. And my Voss received #7m since 2024. I didn't even know. Lol.

It hurts. But we live and we learn. Walai. If the roles were reversed, I wouldn't treat any of these people the way they treated me.
