President Bola Tinubu on Monday said terrorists and bandits terrorising Nigerians would be defeated with the efforts of the National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu.

Tinubu made the remark while commending Ribadu, whom he describing as “honest, bold, courageous, and committed to the job.”

The commendation came during the President’s visit to Adamawa State, where he expressed confidence in Ribadu’s leadership and dedication to strengthening national security.

“I believe the state of Adamawa is strongly proud of you because I am too,” the President said, reaffirming his administration’s support for the NSA.

President Tinubu also reiterated the Federal Government’s determination to tackle insecurity across the country, stating that under Ribadu’s guidance, Nigeria would overcome banditry and terrorism.

“With you, we will defeat the bandits and terrorists,” he added.

An outsider hacked into your phone getting sensitive information about security situations in our country, and yet one wonders how bandits keeps getting sensitive information and attacking military formations. Ribadu is a serious Joke. Like my good friend Mike Arnold would call him NSJ. ( National security Joke).

Eyes have never seen the kind of fight that will erupt among Northern Politicians who all will be jostling to succeed President Tinubu in 2031. From Nuhu Ribadu to Nasir El Rufai, to Kashim Shettima, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Mohammed Umar Bago, Uba Sani and many others, the fight will sweet to watch from afar. This is what you all don't get. Until betrayed, the North will always keep to agreements. All that talk about the North always being desperate for power are all untrue. Tinubu got 5.6m votes in the North in 2023 because of that. It was payback. Not necessarily because they didn't like their own son, Atiku.

Hypocrisy. Why not direct this question to Bayo Onanuga? What changed? The mere involvement of the U.S is testimony of the lack of confidence Trump has in Tinubu’s handling of the security situation. It has never happened in any previous government. But make no mistakes, U.S support isn't charity, Nigeria will definitely pay back in cash or kind. For how long? No one knows yet.
