The battery life might have changed improve but power supply has worsened therefore things has not really changed.

By now you should be going about without PB knowing full well that you can charge your phone at anytime

We now carry power bank or little fan (for ladies) around.

I never experienced this. What happens to me today is carrying a power pack about. It will remain a staple even in the farthest future.

If you have lived abroad for a long time and decide to visit Nigeria your phone battery must get to like 5/10% before you think about charging it and boom, there's no power especially when you're out of your home/hotel.

Life in Nigeria is so difficult without basic amenities.
Power banks and generator's are meant for camping and areas with out power like construction sites and stuffs like that.

People are still carrying chargers and battery banks upandan. The coming of micro blogs like Facebook, whatsapp, Instagram, telegram, etc has put huge consumption rate on phone batteries, thereby eroding the long periods phones are expected to last before draining.

Even last week I use charger do necklace during the national grid collapse.

I sincerely don't know what you are talking about. I never hung charger on my neck everywhere I went.

I bought my first phone 4 months after MTN launched and it was an Alcatel phone, followed by a Nokia 3210 then Samsung tru-I.

Now we carry power banks up and down
