Bluearrow:Note that almost all currencies of the world have gained against the dollar recently. Even worst performing currencies. Dollar is weak at the moment. This is also one of the reasons gold is high. So play safe. |

Bluearrow:It's artificial. Not sustainable in the Long run. Not backed by real production or manufacturing but by FG bond yields which is at 16% area and very attractive to Investors. When FG defaults or Investors start taking profits back, We will see a reversal back to probably 1600-1800 region. |

| Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by GRACEGLORY: 12:24pm On Feb 19 |
Clemss88:No, it’s due to combination of massive cash reserves, strategic reforms, and investor confidence. Nigeria’s "savings account" (External Reserves) has surged to approximately $48.5 – $49 billion, the highest level since 2018. More so, Nigeria is drastically reducing the amount of Dollars it sends abroad for fuel. |
| Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by Bluearrow: 1:31pm On Feb 19 |
GRACEGLORY:This is more like it The rate at which naira is appreciating goes beyond global decline in dollar. When u compare the rate at which naira is appreciating to other currencies against the dollar, u will know it is different. Internal forces are behind this move just like u have explained. |

Ballzproblemm:clarity act will pass is not a matter of if but when ,all this political bruhaha, is mostly for preparations, stablecoins are being minted everyday in preparations for institution onboarding. Hold useful coins ,cause clarity act is not only for mooning all Blockchains, some coins will not pass the test . |

Alphabyte3:Nice one, sir. Here’s a perspective which you inspired… 1. GP Coins (Geometric Progression) Bittensor (TAO): Consistently doubling in short cycles as AI subnet demand spikes. Hyperliquid (HYPE): Currently in a geometric growth phase following its late 2025 mainnet expansion. Ondo (ONDO): Seeing growth due to its role in the "Real World Asset" (RWA) explosion. 2. AP Coins (Arithmetic Progression) Solana (SOL): Growing at a steady, measurable rate as it eats into Ethereum's market share. XRP (XRP): After the 2025 regulatory clarity, it has settled into a predictable, linear growth path (+5–10% monthly). Binance Coin (BNB): Follows a strict arithmetic progression tied to its burn-and-utility cycle. 3. Micro Coins (Slow/Stagnant) Cardano (ADA): Currently struggling with "Micro" speed growth (down 70% from its 2025 peak). Litecoin (LTC): Moving in very small, slow increments despite high security, often underperforming the BTC growth rate. Polkadot (DOT): Experiencing sluggish movement as liquidity stays trapped in newer Layer-2s. 4. Zero/Static Coins (The Baseline) Stablecoins (USDC, USDT, PYUSD). They are the "control group" with 0% growth intended, providing the liquidity needed for the GP and AP coins to function. |

Usdtstaking:A currency "gaining" against the dollar doesn't always mean the dollar is failing, no sir, it often just means the market over-extended itself. In times of global instability, the dollar remains the "cleanest shirt in the dirty laundry pile." When global markets get shaky, investors don't flock to the Lebanese Pound or the Argentinian Peso, they run back to the liquidity of the Greenback, dollar. In times of genuine global economic, worst-case scenarios, the dollar always spikes. If the currencies of worst performing nations are gaining, it often signals a high risk-on appetite where investors are chasing yield in emerging markets. This isn't a sign of dollar weakness as much as it is a sign of temporary global optimism. |
