If truly the naira is rising organically with no subsidy by the CBN, it really worths celebrating.

With this rate, it may end up falling below 1500 for a GBP before December.

Useless country. Just look at what APC government is celebrating. When I travelled to the UK, how much was Naira then compare to now. Useless country.

there is nothing like Naira to pounds market to compare, its always compared to the Dollar he pounds is compared to the Dollars, then niara rate is derived from it. Even if the dollar to naira rate does not shift just shift in Dollar to pounds rate depilates the naira.

There's NO subsidy or intervention by the Central Bank of Nigeria in this case unlike in the past when the CBN had to intervene by pumping scares hard currency (USD) to prevent the constant depreciation of the local currency and the speculative currency manipulations in the black market.
