He needs to put Singo in the starting XI. That our captain is a defensive liability.

I kept begging for that sub all through that match. Wilfried Singo is a very intelligent and strong player, our captain is intelligent and strong too but he's not as fast and versatile as Singo.

Singo just needs to start that next game.

Exactly. Our captain is just not fast enough for this level. Singo should start all UCL and Fenerbache matches.

Btw do u know why Renato Nhaga wasn't in the squad? That is my favourite January signing. Silky Smooth Kante grin

I think NFF petition to FIFA might just see the light of day. Assuming the petition didn't carry and weight, FIFA would have long ago reject or denounce the petition is favour to Congo.
So for FIFA to still be deliberating on the petition, that shows that we might be in a good position to replace Congo.
What's keeping FIFA on this issue?

Emmanuel Fernandez looks set to commit his international future to Nigeria.

He is waiting to hear from the Nigeria Football Federation and manager Eric Chelle ahead of the Fifa window for international games in March 2026.

The 24 year old defender joined Rangers in the summer and is currently being monitored by clubs in England and Germany due to the impact he has made since arriving at Ibrox.

Why do I get the feeling FIFA won't deliver any verdict on this our world cup petition but prefer to do a waiting game/silent treatment stalemate on the case till DR Congo quietly play their playoffs while we get ignored? Lol

FIFA is a reputable organization. Whether it rules in our favor or not, it will definitely respond. The only real concern would be if the Nigeria Football Federation petition did not reach the appropriate channel—because if it did and there was still no response, that would raise serious questions. but i am sure that fifa will respond
