This is 2026, I am running on Gen, like I have been on generation since 8AM, I only put off a few times. Withh this nosiy gen from around this place, and mine, I am still battling with poor network. U know the network that takes 1 hour to load a page? That is the shit, I still had to rush down to buy packs of bottle water, I still need to take my generator downstairs to pump water so we can have water in the taps. Let me tell u something, Namibia is better than Nigeria. This country is hell. Like, u have lived ur life here, just know that u have lived in frustration. Pls, there is no hope for this damn nation, if u have the resources to run, pls run. Even run go Ghana, u will enjoy better. Like u shouldnt be dealing with poor network, eletcricity issue and water in 2026 while living in a major city. It is No na. It is pathetic. Nigerians have embraced these things as a norm. That is why they can come online to attack nations that are miles ahead of them. Dear Nigerians, u are living in Hell. And it has affected how u reason. Like, I wil buy fuel, waste fuel, then battle with slow wifi provider while my fuel waste, then struggle to pump water with my gen, then hustle all these and still dash govt 25 percent of my income as tax, not 3 percent, not 1 percent, 25 percent? This is wickedness. I hate the creator who created me here, this country is designed to frustrate u. I worked so hard for this country to take a peny from me while frustrating me. Even the road I drive on are so terrible, no month I dont change tyres because of bad roads. I have wasted 3 hours of my life plus fuel loading my work pages. Damn! And una get mind dey bash Namibia? Seems u dont know that these stuff we battle with in big cities, in our major cities and federal capital, they cant relate, it is a shame. We are just noisy, empty noise. Most of us, 98 percent of us live a life of slavery, a life of pathetic, a life of pain till we die. The few elites have stollen everything from us but we have mouth when it comes to fighting other African nations. Such a shameless country. Una still dey dig bore hole in 2026. U think it is nomal, right? U were born in it, grew in it and die in it. Shame |

And you want real time transmission of election ,you also complain of poor network…some Nigerians too are cursed |
| Re: Nigeria Is Cursed! by BrickandLace(f): 10:30pm On Feb 19 |
Someone make announcement at 4 am in the night and by dawn you all continue like nothing happened. Like maluu. Truly a curse is operating. |

Princedapace:Note there are also downsides to "good" things. This girl below, if she was in Nigeria she won't be addicted to internet. There is a reason they have higher levels if substance abuse, mental illness, suicide. And, ironically enough, it may have a lot to do with constant electricity and super fast internet!

| Re: Nigeria Is Cursed! by erad(m): 1:57am On Feb 20 |
Obviously you can afford to relocate to Namibia or Ghana, why haven't you? |
| Re: Nigeria Is Cursed! by IJAYA001(m): 2:43am On Feb 20 |
You better relocate now to Namibia or Ghana with all your generation, staying at home since morning doing Yahoo. |

plumcomm:Look in the mirror. Real-time transmission is like making a simple phone call or sending a text message. PUs have at least one network in the area that works. For PUs that don’t have at least one network, StarLink works everywhere. INEC has hundreds of billions as budget. Like I said, look in the mirror |

plumcomm:There's nothing wrong with supporting the real-time transmission of election results. At least we can use the telcos' slow internet services to upload images and other files of up to 5MB and download files of over 2GB. Snapped result sheets should be in kilobytes, meaning that they will be extremely easy to upload to any website, no matter the network you use. |

Imagine the way this one is sounding as if he's a foreigner. The electricity issue in Nigeria, it's we the citizens that have been frustrating all the efforts of both past and present government |

When I read your saying you hate the creator who created you here. I now understand why you are frustrated and will forever remain so unless you repent and ask for forgiveness. |

mascot87:I’m sure God will forgive him. It’s not easy to be in a country where people hail thieves that steal so much money in bullion vans like Tinubu
|
| Re: Nigeria Is Cursed! by VaselineCrew: 4:18am On Feb 20 |
Op I feel you! I pray God improves this country and our lives too. There are so many people on the side of the demons in Nigeria. People will steal moneys meant for all these things you talk about and the victims will pray for them. Bullion vans will come to a thieves house and defenders will go on tv saying “The bullion van missed road” Someone will put their career on line by secretly recording GANDUJE stealing money for roads, and the wicked nation makes him party chairman. I wonder how many died from the bad roads that could have been done properly with that cash But the demon citizens will tell you why a thief is your best option. |

The best thing is division. Every leader from every region will be held accountable for what they've done |
| Re: Nigeria Is Cursed! by MockingBird(m): 5:17am On Feb 20 |
OP has reached his breaking point. I reached mine sometime around late 2020 and early 2021 and finally jappa in 2023. Staying in Abuja, I remember buying Mai-ruwa when PHCN refuses to give us light sometimes for 2 - 3 days straight and we couldn't pump water. Neighbours who had Gen were doing shakara because I was using inverter and had no Gen. Repairing my car shocks, inner cup, stabilizer linkage and suspensions made spare parts sellers and mechanics at Apo my friends. Damn...Nigeria was hard then, I finally knew this was no way to live and I had to escape. All these was then o, under Buhari. Now, I can only imagine what the misery and hardship is like with fuel at N800+ @OP, draw up a solid one year plan on escaping Nigeria because if Tinubu returns for another 4 years, the experience you've just narrated will be good compared to the what is to come in his second tenure. Let him that have an ear hear. On another note, I hope you were not one of those who campaigned and voted for this current disaster. |

I want someone to come forward and tell me one thing they actually enjoy being or living in Nigeria ![]() |
| Re: Nigeria Is Cursed! by untoldtruth: 8:47am On Feb 20 |
T'is today y'all found out that there's no saviour for Nigeria? Been known it since me teenage years. The same leaders my parents open eye saw'ed are still the same ones around till today, just recycling themselves like dirty laundry, they are bloody unkillable. Everyone is dying but not them, them 80 year olds with 60 year old daughters, shaking knees and blurry vision but they still won't let the country go. The day we heard "it's my turn" in public you suppose no say na to struggle for extra passport b that. |
| Re: Nigeria Is Cursed! by SmartPolician: 9:22am On Feb 20 |
Maj196:Benefits of living in Nigeria 1. Affordable housing 2. Extremely cheap medical services 3. Cheap foodstuffs 4. You don't have to deal with racism 5. You can commit crimes and get away with it. 6. You are not worried of environmental disasters like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, conflagrations, etc. 7. You don't have to struggle living in a very cold weather. 8. You live a balanced life, not work, work and work all time. You visit your village, hang out with friends whom you grew up with and go to church. 8. On a lighter note, you have access to any women of your choice ![]() I can go on and on. The only reason people are leaving Nigeria this bad leadership |
| Re: Nigeria Is Cursed! by MockingBird(m): 7:50pm On Feb 20 |
SmartPolician:All what you wrote up there is nonsense. Let me debunk them one after the other. 1. Affordable housing What makes it affordable? Houses where you have light 2 - 3 hours a day, no pipe borne water, and soak away fills up regularly. Bros, abeg shift.2. Extremely cheap medical services Have you gone to a private hospital to treat yourself before? Government hospitals that are dilapidated, insufficient beds, no electricity to run the hospitals and where doctors jappa from every day?3. Cheap foodstuffs Where are the jobs to give people the earning power to buy the food stuffs? Are farmers not afraid to go to the farms so that fulani herdsmen and bandits don't harrass and kill them?4. You don't have to deal with racism What about the tribalism between Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo. Abi you never see Yoruba landlord saying I don't rent my houses to Igbo people and vice versa. Tribalism in Nigeria is way worse than racism in the west.5. You can commit crimes and get away with it Lets not even talk about this one. Nigeria is a lawless country where evil thrives and good people suffer.6. You are not worried of environmental disasters like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, conflagrations, etc. ? What about flooding during the raining season along states Kogi, Delta, Edo, Benue, Lagos and the others.7. You don't have to struggle living in a very cold weather. This right here is the only thing going for us that is positive. Our weather is friendly all year round. But the heat can be so discomforting without electricity and an AC. 8. You live a balanced life, not work, work and work all time. You visit your village, hang out with friends whom you grew up with and go to church. Well this is also another positive thing going for us. Our communal lifestyle is admirable as opposed to the individualistic lifestyle of the west. However, crime and insecurity is robbing this positive away from us very fast.8. On a lighter note, you have access to any women of your choice grin Nonsense talk. Women are everywhere. Moreso, unemployment and poverty in Nigeria has created a huge immoral industry where sex is a commodity. |

MockingBird:Omo, I don reach o. I used to love this country and rejected idea of running. But as it is eh, seems I go just run. I am not looking for heaven on earth. I just want to be where I wont think about electricity, water, road, security. I will gladly pay income tax. But here, these men will loot ur income tax, then show off on social media, their sons will take ur babes with the stolen money, they will rub it on ur face on national tv. God forbid such a country. Nigeria does not deserve my sweat. Like I hate it eh. Wicked nation. Na every month I dey buy tyre, each is 45k. I dey buy at least 2 minimum. WTF, terrible roads. Like guy, this country is the most useless country on earth. Then some people will be expecting patrotism from me when Nigeria pays nothing to me but exclude politicians who are well paid. No be curse be that? |
