nwaobitex:The $20,000 you are seeing is that per year or per term? I am asking because the average tuition fee for international graduate students in Canada is approximately CAD $21,100 to CAD $23,250 per year. That would bring the total to around CAD $40,000 ( the whole program) for a master’s program sometimes slightly less, but most times more than that. https://www.educanada.ca/programs-programmes/education_cost-cout_education.aspx?lang=eng Remember, most master’s programs in Canada are two years. You may find some one-year programs, but the majority are two years. Even some one-year programs can end up costing almost as much as a two-year program that’s just how it is they want to suck your money so one year 2 years you would still pay the hight amount.... As I mentioned, one school I personally know that has relatively lower tuition fees for international students is Memorial University of Newfoundland. https://www.mun.ca/become/graduate/tuition-fees-and-funding/ Now it’s up to you to check whether they offer the program you’re looking for from the image below you spend 6 Teams as a computer science masters student in Memoral University Each term you pay CAD$2,600 so in 2 years which is 6 terams you would pay CAD$15,600 fees just fees some others things might add up but that's about 17 million naira in scholl fee in total for 2 years as an international student Remember other dudes included but that's it....again Memorial University of Newfoundland is a chapter school compared to average schools

😂 At this point, Memorial University of Newfoundland owes me commission for marketing! I have mentioned their lower international tuition so many times, I am basically doing unpaid brand promotion. They should at least send me a hoodie or something. From my research, I found that tuition at Memorial University of Newfoundland is relatively low because it is the only public university in the entire province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Since it is the province’s primary public university, the government heavily funds and invests in it. Because there are no other major public universities competing for provincial funding, more resources can be directed toward this institution. That level of government support likely contributes to why tuition even for international students has historically been lower compared to many universities in other provinces. If you imagine a region the size of Southeast Nigeria having only one public university, the government would likely prioritize funding and investing in that single institution as well. |

kemmyk:I did the same thing. Your sister has to open the account herself from Nigeria with either CIBC or TD Bank. Then you can fund the account yourself within Canada. They would simply ask if you are a relative and when she is opening the account she would state that it would be funded by a relative. If you both bear the same last name, it makes it easier. |

amnotapervert:Thank you for this. I have looked into this school and the course I want to apply for is masters on Computer Engineering but I can't find details about the school fees. Do you reckon it will be in the same range with computer science? |

adekunley93:ignore that, just have funds available and proof source |

nwaobitex:Memorial university is generally a cheap school irrespective of the course but computer science computer Engineering, Applied computing, Computer Information Teachnology No one gives a F in all that they are all the same in a ground scheme of things |

Gurus in the house please help on what to do on this refusal I have reviewed the application. The applicant's assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for the applicant and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable). The applicant's stay in Canada is to be sponsored by their father. Bank statement demonstrates significant gains; however I am not satisfied that the provenance is well documented. There is limited evidence demonstrating how they came to accumulate their savings. Financial information is not supported with an employment letter confirming salary composition and position, pay slips or evidence of reported income to support the account balances on file. In the absence of supplementary documentation establishing the source of their savings, I am not satisfied the applicant has demonstrated their access to a stable source of sufficient funds for the intended stay in Canada. There is no personal bank statement on file from the applicant to consider as a result, I am not satisfied that the PA provided sufficient evidence of their financial establishment/socio-economic situation. Based on the financial documents submitted, I am not satisfied that the applicant has sufficient funds to pay for living expenses for the proposed studies. Weighing the factors in this application, I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay. For the reasons above, I have refused this application. |

Always get involved with the process, don't pay anybody and then go an sit down for them to take care of EVERYTHING. Do not pay for someone to submit POF for you, you may get a ban if they use fraudulent bank statement and supporting documents. If you don't have a sponsor who is a family member, maybe you should consider other destinations where you and your family can afford for now. Great1tech: |

This reads like a case of poor and incomplete documentation. To reapply, ensure that you provide enough RELEVANT documents to address the issues raised. Your father should write a proper letter of financial support detailing his commitment to sponsor you, what he does and explain his sources of income. If he is an employee, a reference letter from his employer is a most. If he is a business owner, complete business registration documents and proof of business transactions should be provided. Documents provided should be sufficient enough to literally speak on your behalf to the visa officer. All the best lauraprincess: |

Sire20:Just following up again, today marks 3 months since I submitted the study permit applications for my minor kids. It's really hard. I have sent web forms, MP contacted the IRCC agent twice now, but nothing new. It's really frustrating. I don't know what to do. Please help a frustrated brother here. |

Hello guys, please I need help again. So there are lumps of money in my sister's account like between #1.5mil-#2mil which amount to about #12million. The money was from contributions she did and which was paid into her account in December My question is how do I prove to IRCC that the money was from contribution, how do I back it up. I am just confused. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by leinadfem(m): 8:42am On Feb 20 |
kobobay:Nothing yet, it’s quite frustrating, I’ve done everything except contacting MP but its still same. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Star19: 11:38am On Feb 20 |
kobobay:With IRCC, you just need to learn patience otherwise you might get hbp from worrying. It’s nearly four months since I applied and it’s only few days ago they contacted me to request additional documents which I have provided. The waiting continues. Hopefully it won’t be for long now. |

We are all trusting God for a positive result. The waiting period can be tiring. Have you received submission acknowledgment yet? I think this is the first step after biometrics. |

amnotapervert:You know what your problem is? 'LACK OF COMPREHENSION'. Can't you quote where I said I was scammed? I only said that majority of these agents are scammers and you are telling e to mention the agent that scammed me. You missed English classes in your primary school? |
