This is what Jesus commanded and taught:

First of all there are claims about things we want to accept or reject so please try to focus on what the person called Christ taught let's not complicate issues by using sentiment in this.

Jesus' words has been recorded in the Bible just as the words of Allah is found in the Quran that's why i never question the authenticity of your Quran rather i welcome what is found written as God's word if it will help faithfuls to make peace reign among themselves.

So leave the argument and focus on what is written in the BOOK that's what i will gladly welcome from the Quran if there is not condemning the BOOK or questioning it's authenticity.

People following what Jesus taught can't raise weapons against themselves this shows that there is no Christian country anywhere as true Christians are people following what Jesus taught.

So let's put sentiment aside for now and focus on what the two books teaches regarding how peace could reign among faithfuls.
Of course there was wars in an ancient Israel which was due to pure worship as God told the Israelites to hold the place for sacred reasons but then whoever is worshiping that same God it's what God lay down as rules they should use to settle their disparities in a peaceful way among themselves.
So when Israelites were waging wars it was against enemies of pure worship not because of politics, race or tribe as God won't support that.
When Jesus walked the earth he warned his disciples never to raise weapons against anyone again because God no longer hold anywhere as sacred land but wherever faithful gathers is holy to God.

From that moment anyone taking up weapons against others in the name of WARS is on Satan's side not God's so if you hear of people claiming Christians but joining the army know today that they are not Christians because they are going to kill innocent people in other countries as well as their fellow believers during war and such could only be on racial, political or tribal grounds which shouldn't be among those claiming faithfuls before God.
