kolnel:If u are the type that raises ur hand on ur wife while in Nigeria. Then likely she will do u shage as women no de forget. In all he knows the type of wife he is married to. Not all women are like that. There are still lot of women with no selfish desire unlike those that agree that a man's money is ours and their money is theirs only... That kind women na red flag |

Naya261:Sponsor your wife for these reasons: 1. Nursing is a hot cake everywhere in Europe, including UK 2. She is guaranteed a good job after completion. 3. She can get a job in other European countries and relocate, if necessary 4. As a woman and mother, the kids can easily join here n UK when she settles down 5. Women enjoy more favours and preferential treatment in immigration matters than men 6. She can use part of her monthly earnings to support you and the kids until you join her. Please Note: You have to start learning how to be humble by force when she gets to UK, working, earning god morning and eventually becomes citizen or permanent resident. Otherwise, women do have a way of easily misbehaving when they become bread winner of the family. Best of luck |

Sponsor your wife. She stands a better chance and more prospects of getting better job, even in other places like the US. With 8 years experience, she should sit for her NCLEX and extend her job search beyond the UK. Don't listen to people advising otherwise. If she's determined and knows what she's doing, push her more to succed while you encourage her. On your own part, study trade related courses or find jobs in care sector to use and hold body. That your profession will be difficult to see job in the UK. |

Naya261:Sponsor yourself. Let your wife stay behind. Unless you want to learn the hard way. Any money spent on yourself is never a waste, can't say the same for money spent on others. You'll thank me later. |

Naya261:Gospel truth and reality…. Your wife’s nursing career will benefit your family more financially and visa-ly BUT it might cost u ur marriage ( even if your wife is d best thing after God to you) i have seen it happen to the best partners. Your MSC wont give u better job ( no be curse oo. Na reality). Those oyinbo people are not looking at msc. Your experience first then visa status. If your career is not in health, u are better off sponsoring your wife but be ready to drop the “man of the house” mentality yourself. Dont let ur wife make u drop it. Once in a while, Offer to stay at home with the kids, go to d market, arrange d house before she comes back from work. Pick the kids from school… then ur marriage has a chance of survival here |

you are considering paying UK university who are basically just high end fraudster at this for a degree you admitted you don't need. you’d be burning through your capital to sit in a classroom while the UK government constantly changes the code on student visas and dependent rights, after you are done with your degree , you'd be booted out like cat across the street. mfw your wife is a registered nurse with. the UK's healthcare system is crashing and they are desperate for workers. sponsoring her career is the only move that isn't a total failure. she gets a job, you get spouse visa with work rights and you both start earning immediately instead of leaking cash on tuition. |

See my bro for US de say men are targeting those women that already have kids and just landed abroad, that they consider them level headed unlike the young ladies. They will cook, clean and take care of you better as they have seen the other side if the coin unlike young chicks. Op you wife come be nurse again. Oga focus on yourself, go first, improve yourself then you can consider bringing them over if you so wish. |

First, do you have a certificate of sponsorship to remain in the UK after your masters? If not, sponsor your wife's nursing career as she's guaranteed of getting a job and also sponsorship to remain in the UK. If you go for your master's and end up not getting a certificate of sponsorship afterwards, you'll be heading back home. |

Naya261:Let me give you a personal experience. I traveled to the US a decade ago. My first rental was a room in an apartment in my first year. The person living in the second room across my room was a woman and a third room a guy. So we were three in the apartment. This young woman told me a lot about how her husband supported her to make her coming to the US possible with the hope of him joining her. Mind you, she came with a child while the husband was in Nigeria. This lady while talking to her husband on phone in Nigeria, she’s here changing boyfriends after boyfriends. I told her, mama so and so, why can’t you bring papa so and so (her husband) to the US. Mind you, this lady had been in the US two years before I came and she already had her permanent residency. She would always tell me she can’t bring him because of some stupid reasons she gave me which also included the influence from her family to leave her husband. Now ten years have passed. Papa so and so is still in Nigeria. Mama so and so , I mean this lady has moved on abandoning her husband and got pregnant for another man here in the US while the man that helped her to come to the US with their only child is probably languishing in Nigeria. This is my personal experience like I said. This is not some story I was told. The lady involved was my neighbor for two years. If you don’t learn anything from this, you can send your wife abroad. Whatever your eyes see afterwards, it’s your cross |
