I didn't know how bad I was losing until the new tax law forced me to register my company and made me enlarge my coast and capital which some was given to me by friends and family members to be paid back with interest.

In fact,I borrowed about 85million just of recent and by the grace of God after tax I now make about 9million monthly. Sometimes, fear is our major set backs in life, especially the fear of people's opinion about business.

If u are a new graduate from a poor background like me, work and raise capital and change ur future. No person can become extremely rich being just an employee.

The competition is severely intense and can only favour few people.

Finally, every young man and woman should establish something, run it with ur sweat and do this diligently for 5years and see your life turn around for good.

All the best for u reading this, yes u!

This part of your statement is very correct.
Many people are just too scared of failing at something they can push by themselves.

Entrepreneurship in any form still pays a higher return than most available jobs - and if you can, combine job and personal freelance business - like me 😁

When I say I was a from a poor background,I dont think I need any further explanation to buttress that point.

It depends on what u guys termed as poor,it was out of trust for me and my wife that I was able to raised such amount of money. My sincerity today,is my collateral.

Many a times,we only see the success and not the story behind the success.

I am not ur usual motivational speaker but trust me,the son of a poor man can make it only if he is success conscious.

I agree that no one can be rich without owning equity, but this belief that everyone must be rich or can be rich is lopsided. Everyone cannot be rich. It's not mathematically possible or humanely feasible.

Also, I think we need to define what "rich" is in Nigeria. At what level can a Nigerian living in Nigeria be qualified to be called "rich"?

In today's Nigeria,if u don't have about 132million or a minium of $100,000 u are still not rich but comfortable with that amount,u can decide not to work for anyone and still live very fine in any part of this country.

Immediately u make a minimum of $100,000 or 132million naira,ur life starts taking real shape. U will work less and see ur investment take care of u without much stress.
For example, that amount can give u about 24million interest per annum. Just imagine having that amount in a year without going to regular work.

1.Say u rent a house for 2.4million.
2. Reserve 5million for feeding per annum
3. School fees for three kids per annum #2million
4. Pocket money per annum 3million for yourself.
5. Pocket money for ur wife per annum 2.5million
6. U can then save the remaining balance of #5.1 and life continues.

Although, the above may be big or small but for the sake of calculation u may decide to do it in ur own way.

That is the power of being rich in a modest way.

If u want to learn more, read the principles of $100,000 propounded by Charlie Munger.
