Well-said. Some, the poster you quoted for example, cannot rise above their hatred of "Yoruba President", "Yoruba Government" and Yoruba people to see what matters.

To them it is all about votes from the North they feel can get "Yoruba President" out whereas they have no interest in what is good of bad for Nigeria as a nation.

The North-South dichotomy has always been a problem for Nigeria our past myopic leaders felt they could manage with quota system, rotational Presidency between North and South plus 'one Nigeria' duplicity etal.

Whereas what well-meaning, dedicated and effective leaders would do is acknowledge the big and potentially dangerous differences between the North and south to then use such knowledge sincerely to forge a more honest system that will work for all Nigerians so we do not become a dangerous menace and encumbrance to one another. Eg regional autonomy.

Now that cold blooded and brutal murder, kidnapping and maiming of strangers has entered the 'one Nigeria' mix, courtesy of the core North and mainly Fulanis, is it surprising we arrive at this point where the South want those they associate with wanton, meaningless and callous killings to leave their land?

Why will such a demand be viewed as abnormal or wrong? Especially by Northerners who should be looking for ways to mend fences with Southerners that some in their ranks are offending and alienating ?

Should they be threatening "retaliation" if genuinely seeking peaceful and harmonious co-existence of Nigerians?

Nigeria is full of unreasonable and irresponsible people and ethnic groups. What Northern leaders and followers are doing to the South is very wicked, evil and condemnable.

History shows us that evolution won't allow that to carry on and I believe something will give in the end. Worse to come in my opinion. Much worse.
