No reasonable man should take this apology.
Any man that is proven to have raped a girl should be unalived by the law of the land
But any woman that is proven to have falsely accused a man of rape should at the minimum spend 20 years in jail.
If it has impacted the falsely accused guys wellness so much, then jail the false accuser for life.
If it led to the falsely accused losing his life, then the sentence should be that the false accuser be unalived too.
A sane society is not built by treating these issues with kid gloves.

She should be suspended for at least a semester or session . This is a serious issue that can cause damage (if it already hasn't) to the guy involved. Rape is a serious accusation.

Just cos in Nigeria they do not stone women for sleeping with men they aren't married to yet, doesn't mean heads of women don't roll over such silly statements. When you open your mouth waaa and accuse someone of anything, you put them in trouble until they can prove otherwise. Do you know how many women have suffered worse fate just cos a man accused them of being sexual with them or someone else?
