If Chelle's contract isn't renewed, I would strongly advocate for bringing Finidi back to finish what he started.
Let him sort out himself with Rivers United first.

Turkish newspaper Hurriyet has reported that Victor Osimhen has yet to receive his salaries for January and February.

This report comes at the time when the Super Eagles striker stayed away from Saturday’s Super Lig match at Konyaspor, which Galatasaray lost 2-0.

The Turkish champions released a statement that Osimhen is recovering from a knee injury.

Osimhen is on a bumper annual salary of between 18 and 21 million euros.

At the height of his transfer saga at Italian club Napoli, he insisted he will not take a pay cut to move.

Turkish clubs are notorious for owing players several months’ pay and other contract breaches.

Sad but true..... Very sad indeed

Yes. Super Eagles must imbibe no-formation football.
AFCON glory rests on this

Low-key, i feel the Chelle situation with NFF is dependent on FIFA verdict for this DRC issue. If we replace DRC Congo, Chelle might be retained or flinged for a foreign manager or anyhow gbasgbos based on feelings.

Osihmen made the best of decisions then and people continue to bash him for playing in the same Turkey. This is why I don’t blame players for decisions joining certain clubs or remaining in some clubs or countries, retirement is a big deal and you need to take care of yourself. I remember then the way Mikel was being bashed then for remaining in Chelsea and even chopping bench at a particular time. Dude was only bidding his time to remain in uk to get his British passport and we can now see how that choice had paid off in his retirement, same reason I think Frank the tank is remaining in the uk too even heard he just had a baby. Decisions and choices matter in the long run no matter how unpopular they may seem at the moment cos at the end of the day na you go face your life alone. Imagine those ex players in ilorin you talked about don’t have awoniyi taking care of them but hope awoniyi would have someone too just in case in his retirement life.

The national team truly is helping our players a lot despite all the bonus wahala by nff!
Osimhen Turkey moved was well detailed, not cuz of finance but Napoli poor treatment of a super star....Yes Awoniyi finances is well managed by his role model Seyi Olofinjana and good parents... present day eagles players are into real estates, they are learning from the mistakes of ex players.... Bright Omokaro had it all in NPFL but I can tell you he is a big man in Ibadan,Felix Owolabi a PHD holder is doing well.I think is all about mindset and discipline

I agree cos I watched an interview with segun Odegbami who never played abroad but said his personality and popularity gave him privileges like becoming a huge distributor for one major soft drink company where he made a fortune. So it all boils to personal management at the end of the day!

On osihmen not many will agree with you as they think he was more about money than what he faced at Napoli which for me is not even an issue cos owo ni koko me I no send o! See Ekong Dey flex for Saudi so what!

Una propaganda too much, just to justify Osimhen actions which he already apologized, him añd Lookman have moved on...Diego simple comment didn't criticize Lookman but talking about a player that will understand Atletico style of play more with times but you're trying to center it on what happened against Mozambique...una too dey disrespect Lookman despite his stats said otherwise during Afcon
You are the one blind to facts.
It is quite unreasonable of you to hint at disrespect.
Only if you have known the praises I have showered on Lookman in the past and my praises of him even now.

Any one that has known Lookman will record tards of selfishness in his play.
And if such a deficiency is touted even by his new coach,, then men like you will cry disrespect.
How long have you known Ademola Lookman and his past troubles, and how he has evolved.
He can't improve anymore?

Diego Simeone acknowledged Ademola Lookman's goals (his stats) but still wants him to improve in his overall play.

Shebi Chelle contract still runs till end of this year so World Cup just in case is intact! Is whether he will coach the team to the next Afcon is what is in doubt

No update again regarding Nff petition against Dr Congo ineligible player

Up till now FIFA never deliver any Verdict

Am confused if the Nff send the petition to another organisation not FIFA

What has Diego comment got to do with Osimhen/Lookman Mozambique drama, did you ever see Chelle complaining about Lookman overall display...a player just joined a team and his coach made honest opinion about him but to you Osimhen a teammate was right just cuz of Diego comment...I repeat it una too dey disrespect the boy

And if the Nff is serious about our football, worldcuo or not, they should go with Chelle plan,
This is the right time to start preparing and building for the future with that well laid out plan by Chelle
