alezzy13:They are linked together. When those young girls get married and divorce, they keep remarrying and give birth to some of the new husbands. There is a large propensity to have a child for a new husband. I agree multiple children they cant take care is most likely the biggest problem in the core north, but root cause is religion and divorce rules under the said religion. |

DesireV:Anyone advocating for a practice suited for the 16th century at best in the 21st century is unfit for the current society. Most of the Sharia practices are repugnant and not fit for modern day living, and it is not in religion only, it applies to backward cultureas well . A good example of retrogressive culture that is causing chaos and disaster in Nigeria is the fulani culture of rearing cows that is not in tune with modern world. If you think with growing population, growth and civilization, becoming a nomad on any available land is a sustainable culture, you are unfit to be related with. The fulani herdsman still wants to live as early man, with little or no value for human lives and claim it is culture. To hell with any religion or culture that refuses to make modification. |

alezzy13:Unbridled childbearing is a result of the religion of Islam, which condemns the use of family planning or pregnancy prevention of any kind. 🥱🥱 |
| Re: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by Kobojunkie: 1:15am On Feb 25 |
emiye:Islam is a religion that is built on the ideas of 7th century, not the 16th century, Arab man with a complex who believed himself to be the perfect model for all of humanity. Mohammedans are individuals who strive to live according to the ideals of this same 7th century man, following his every command and teachings. 🥱 |

DesireV:Notice how you didn't tell us what is true. Because you know it is true. If a man says talaq three times the marriage is over. See it circled below

Kobojunkie:In normal course of things wouldn't this be considered some sort of madness? |
| Re: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by QuinQQ: 3:31am On Feb 25 |
Gerrard59:It is a deceptive explanation. If Islam is all about saving marriages ask DesireV why the divorce rate in the capital of Islam (Saudi Arabia) is so high

QuinQQ:I was thankful that he explained the concept rather than just accusing others of lying without expressing his side. As for divorce, nothing new about it in Islam. Kano has the highest rate of divorce in Nigeria. Apparently, the law/religion promotes easy divorce. |

BlackViper:In every marriage and divorce pronouncement and declaration is a key but the procedures differ, concentrate on your own, we don't expect you to love our religion but please mind your business, it's called tolerance |
| Re: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by GboyegaD(m): 6:35am On Feb 25 |
Unfortunately, divorce is too easy because they only need to make the pronouncement three times and the marriage is dissolved. |

Mariangeles:park well divorce happened everywhere in the world, so you the west should not get it twisted and have it negative impact everywhere not north only. |

AdolfHitlerxXx:People who have not spent time in this places might think you are exaggerating. you see that Kano, the headquarters of divorce in Nigeria. Even fellow Northerners are hesitant to marry Men from kano because the perception is that they don't even regard it seriously. SOme of then marry women and dump them the way a southern man might pick girlfriends |

QuinQQ:The Buhari's aspect? I really don't see myself removing it. At best, I shorten it. That man was a disaster! And those who campaigned and voted for him are people I would have a jaundiced view of. |

@Lovenorth , pointing out an obvious reason for a problem is not intolerance but addressing the situation as it presents itself. Skating around the facts is not tolerance but ignorance. 🥱🥱 |
| Re: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by Musty112: 5:31pm On Feb 26 |
BlackViper:Such confidence in your ignorance!!!. Wow, anyone who does not know any better will think you are an authority on this topic. A woman in islam can divorce her husband even WITHOUT a reason. A simple Google search would have given light to your blind and bias and ignorant take |
| Re: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by Kobojunkie: 5:45pm On Feb 26 |
Musty112:. Please, stop lying! 🥱🥱 Almost all of the over 30 different versions of the Quran out there insist that a woman must first apply for divorce and have her application approved, sometimes by her very husband, before she can be granted divorce. 🥱🥱🥱 |
| Re: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by Musty112: 5:54pm On Feb 26 |
Kobojunkie:Haha, what kind of people are these ones. For one, to show how ignorant there is only a version of the holy Quran!!. Secondly in any of your supposed 30 versions, bring out the verse of the quran to support you claim. At least show that someone somewhere sacrificed something to get you educated. Don't disgrace them by pandering around these blatant falsehood. |

Musty112:I started reading the Quran again in January of 2026, and this time with the help of the Haddiths to provide for better contextual understanding. So, ignorance... none of that applies here. 🥱🥱 2. Yes, there are over 30 versions of the Quran still out there. The Quran was never just one book. Narrated Anas bin Malik:Fortunately for mankind, at least 30 of those different versions of the Quran that existed during the time of even the first Caliph... Narrated Zaid bin Thabit:...survived until even now. And you can now purchase any of them on Amazon in several languages. 🥱🥱 3. Back to the issue at hand. Talaq applies only to the man seeking to divorce his wife. As for the woman, she has to apply for a divorce to be granted to her either by her husband or by a court. 🥱🥱

DesireV:That is why sharia is not necessary and will never work no elites will subject themselves to shari'a law....the same Muslims who advocate for the law don't want to be tried by the law. |
| Re: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by bizzibodi(m): 4:55am On Feb 27 |
Kobojunkie:You are beating about the bush no Muslim man will keep a woman if she annoys him, refuse to perform her wifely duties, left herself unkempt, refuse to cook well...he will be compel to give her tripleT. |
| Re: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by Kobojunkie: 5:10am On Feb 27 |
bizzibodi:A Mohammedan does not need any of those reasons listed to invoke "Talaq" on a woman three times to get her out of his way. He only needs to have some sort of dislike or detest, even if unfounded, to do it. That is what the Quran says, and that is what we see happening out there in the Northern states and many other Islamic countries out there.🥱🥱 |
| Re: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by bizzibodi(m): 5:35am On Feb 27 |
Kobojunkie:Are you a Muslim? |
| Re: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by Kobojunkie: 6:11am On Feb 27 |
bizzibodi:Sirah Rasullulah, The Quran(all over 30 different versions of it) and the numerous Hadiths are online for anyone out there to learn all they wish to about Islam and the root of the many beliefs within the system. 🤔 |
