Left a "guaranteed" job with low pay and pursued personal development with skills in programming and brand management.

Suffered for two years on savings alone 🤧🤧.... Had my first big break which profit paid more than I could have gotten from the previous job.

Today, I have a full-time gig that pays almost x4 of the job I left, and I have the skill and value to pursue freelance side hustle and will one day launch my own agency.

If you take steps like this, mid way as that thing goes... "Yakubu manage. You will feel it like you want to dhie, but you will not dhie " and it will definitely pay off

Leaving my old cycle of friends, believing in my solitude for two years with God grace and mercy.

Now the freedom and success is too loud for them to comprehend.

When you truly want to make it in life, change your friends and cycle without any drama nor fight.

They will try to mock you Out of it but trust your gut and have faith in God.

God never fails those that believe in him with gut's.

Resigning my job, gathered my savings, sold a piece of land, bought a car and became a bolt driver. The first two years were stressful due to greedy mechanic, but now I can fix most electrical fault in my car and I know where to get the parts cheap.

I left home for like 2 years without any of my family members having an idea where I was.

My returning was to broke an abroad travelling news, just a day visit, the next day like this, na so man made his first trip unplanned

I deliberately sabotaged my first job interview, reason being that I didn't want to move to Johannesburg or Gauteng province for that matter.

I remember telling my sister the night before the interview about how I didn't want to move to Gauteng, she suggested that I ask for a transfer back to my province in case I go through, but I wasn't having it... I was looking into other provinces other than Gauteng or the Western Cape province... Not long after that, I got a job in another province.

It only prevented me from getting loved because I was scared that if people knew me, they might hurt me and or they might find out that I'm not that interesting after all and finally leave
This led to series of games of Manipulation that made me appear to be what I wasn't. I ruined a lot of relationshipssssss this way

Pride prevent people from loving me because it built a wall around me that prevented people from knowing me.
One Love what or whom they know. Predictability/being predictable to a degree is a form of showing love.

If people don't know you because you make it hard for them to, they get uninterested and leave.

If people know you but they find out you're not as interesting as they thought you'd be, they'll still leave

If you do, you die. If you don't do, you'll still die. Isn't it better to do and die

No! I went to a celestial church at Olu obasanjo road with my friend, they sheltered us. I stayed just a month and learned a skill in barbering just for one month. Just the right knowledge is what you need. Celestial church is good in hospitality when it comes to that. I worshiped with a different church, but they couldn't shelter me, but celestial church did and where still feeding us even without been their member. I was in their shelter still going to my own church and they never complained. It was members that started complaining that we weren't worshipping with them even while staying in their accommodation, that was when the shepherd told us to always join them after we return from our own church. Gave us white garments. That was how we do joined them after 1st service in my own Church

Sent in a resignation letter and got called in 2 days later and negotiated better pay and remote

If I went through the normal process I would’ve waited for 6 months before any action from the organization

I took similar risk relocating from ph to warri in 2023, without knowing anyone therr. The first few weeks felt like hell but by the fourth week, things started getting better, i was able to find work and also securr a decent accomodation subsequently. The connections i made in warri , continue to be of benefit to me even sfter i left the city back to pH last year. Risks usually payoff if you have the courage to take them
