Highlights of the rule changes that were approved by IFAB today, and will take effect at the start of the World Cup: - The extension of the countdown principle to throw-ins and goal kicks is one of the most significant new rules. If the referee considers that a throw-in or goal kick is taking too long or is being deliberately delayed, referees can initiate a five‑second visual countdown. Failure to restart play before the countdown expires will see possession handed to the opposition: throw‑ins awarded the other way, and delayed goal kicks punished with a corner. - Players being substituted will have 10 seconds to leave the pitch once the board is shown or the referee signals the change. If they fail to do so, the replacement player will be forced to wait until the next stoppage after one minute of play has elapsed, although the substituted player must still leave immediately. - Players receiving on‑field injury assessment or whose injury causes play to stop will have to leave the pitch once play resumes and remain off for one minute. The policy is designed to discourage tactical injury delays. - When clear evidence exists, VARs will now be allowed to intervene in three additional situations: red cards resulting from an incorrect second yellow; cases of mistaken identity; and corner kicks that have been clearly awarded in error. |

I swr onuachu is fckn immature imagine this nonsense, "No paid media. No bought hype, just hard work, quality and goals." He thinks they love him, he doesn't even know he's more like a bait to anger Osimhen. He done finally fall for their nonsense, no yawa |

Emmy450:U guys are reaching, I don't see anything wrong with the comment. Victor has been our little brother for the past decade. Anyone who thinks he pays for media hype is just slow in the head. If anything, we should be paying him for the extra views and likes we get when we say his name. |

semid4lyfe:I see a lot wrong with u guys making up a whole issue for no reason. I do know Victor doesn't pay for media hype and I also know Osimhen and Onuachu are close friends. |

No issues here Oga Basco, that statement from Paul, if it's indeed true Is an immature post from him, the question is who was he implying and referring to in the immature comments??Cos I saw it on Facebook too, BascoVanVeli: |

BascoVanVeli:Like this is becoming a serious issue 🤦♂️. No player should post on their social handle again, cos Osimhen fanboys will always relate it to him. Today they are fighting with Lookman, tomorrow Onuachu, maybe the next will be Akor 😂 😂 😂. You guys have insulted almost all our ex players because of this same person, gradually shifting to the current players. E na get problem |

zicky:you guys are being disingenuous lmao. Everyone elsewhere knows what that statement means except people here. Saying "no media hype and paid hype" is well understood everywhere except nairaland. It is a well known talking point on X that osimhen walks with the top guys on X like pooja and other guys with big folllowing. Infact that is one of the reason they banter him so much on that platform. "No paid hype" is a well known remark people use online when they want to praise a super eagles players apart from oshimehn. Nobody can gaslight me that this is the first time they have seen this phrase. We all know what we are doing |

semid4lyfe:I don't think he's subbing Osimhen, maybe another person. I told someone on X exactly what Basco just typed there, Osimhen is crazily loved and even UCL and UEL (which he isn't even playing in currently) post him regularly. He doesn't pay anybody. Onuachua might've been subbing someone else, but he for read the room with all the agendas wey dey fly upandan against Osimhen. And yeah, he respects Osimhen a lot. |
