Nawa ooo.. so the lunching been done last week or so is ceremonial 🤷😂..imagine Ghana and Benin having uninterrupted wifi, most time our problem as a country is not having idea, but maintenance is the problem..you initiate a good idea only not to follow up to know if it's working as expected or not..until the masses realize that power don't belongs to politicians, it belongs to them...but till then dey will keep using their head.. Emmy000seun:No, one of the biggest problems of Nigeria is wrong ideology, ideologies that will produce and support people like Tinubu and Buhari, Nigeria is not a nation. |

They pointed out that poor or non-existent airport Wi-Fi was partly due to technical, bureaucratic, and funding challenges, outdated equipment, unreliable power supply, unclear responsibility between agencies (like Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and Nigerian Airspace Management Authority (NAMA), and no clear mechanism to maintain the service This has always been our problem and no government shows concern on solving it. |

If you don’t have private Internet service, you are on a long thing. If the service was available, using your own subscription would turn out a world of difference. Next news. |

Imagine landing in a country where your sim isn't registered and you can't even connect with the people who are supposed to pick you up. Many times I have had to beg and borrow a strangers phone just to connect with others in the airport awaiting my arrival. The moment you land in Nigeria, you get a feeling of the hardship once they open the doors of that plane. From the heat to the dysfunctional carousel to the "wetin you bring come" crew despite billions going down yearly. May God help us But to be fair, some personnel have really improved their professionalism especially customs and when departing. |

Emmy000seun:You only monitor what you truly spent on... 95% of the funds was diverted to their pocket as with all projects. You can follow up project you did with 5% of funds meant for it. |

laivwire:They've definitely slowed down on the begging at the airport and you can see that they're working to improve MMIA but not having free wifi in 2026 is archaic. What happened to Glo? Did they not used to provide that service? |

We know how it works in Nigeria. You submit proforma invoice for, let's say, $100,000,000. They tell you to increase it to $250,000,000 and give the balance to them. Then, to collect your $100,000,000, you have to pay those releasing the money some extra cash, not transfer but cash. Then the main decision maker send messengers to you and tell you to give them half of your now $90,000,000, and you do not have to do any work, they will still issue a completion certificate. |

mmsen:I agree. Abosolutely no idea on Glo. |
| Re: Nigeria’s Airports Still Offline Despite N800m Budget, Free MTN Wifi Service by COMPAQ(m): 2:35pm On Mar 02 |
mmsen:It was under "Free MMIA Wifi" name, so you can't tell if its provided by MTN or Glo, but I doubt its Glo because Glo can never be that fast because Glo doesnt have Fibre Optic. |
