Lagos belongs to the Eguns. Just ignore relocating to Lagos. Try emerging towns like Asaba, Lokoja, Enugu, Owerri and Aba. They are lovely towns with low rent, less traffic, more places for leisure and less carbon emissions. If you prefer Onitsha, it's perfect for business, hangouts and connections. Rent in Onitsha is cheap. Food cheap. Traffic is mid, but you'll get to your destination faster. |

Today mark 7 months in Lagos, but should I say it's worth it,I am not even sure,I move in with my family august 2 luckily after two days in the hotel I got an apartment with 2m naira per annum for just a mini flat on the island. Up on till now I couldn't find a job that can pay my monthly rent allowance, and I can't go below that standard of apartment so I just key to small online jobs. For warri where I come this kind apartment I can't pay more than 300k, this Lagos stinks like hell, everywhere smells, aboki spiting up and down, no gaging like deltans do, you go see people for street looking so dirtylike mad.. you go hardly differentiate some from sane. Sometimes I go see the way people they hustle for street, their store is their apartment no good living,na so life come bad reach, the Igbos and other tribes and the funny thing nothing in that shop to make a good living. Stop crying to come to Lagos, he no worth am when you are starting from zero. But if you get like 3million then give it a try but... As I dey here I still dey find the thing when they sup for this place I never see am,my other family member is working in a popular mart here in Lagos and I have the opportunity but I no gree,so when I weigh my life in Delta and my life now in Lagos I come know say I was doing excellent before and if I grade am here now I don't even know where to start because the people when they street for this Lagos overshadow people when dey do well so you no go see eye count, if I am making Sense I just need one person to say it and reply to my post so I can say it all for those that one to learn, there are good side I have not mentioned, thanks. |

For those that want to learn ,the good side food cheap die, like even as na island I dey he suppose look expensive for my eyes but no o, I feel like they make it affordable so the poor masses can buy because na Dem plenty pass here you must sell, cheapest bread in warri na 400naira,you can get bread here 200,300,400 and the sizes are reasonable even normal big bread of 2500 for Delta, bokkumart dey sell am 1100 very standard,if you dey Lagos you know.Mamaput or restaurant can sell rice 100,beans 100,dodo100,meat 100naira when grown up men go dey buy food like that I go dey hide my face dey shame,na culture shock for me. People here know how to give, you no fit hungry if you know your way. Food is very cheap either cooked or raw but rent is high but cheap in some areas. Ease of going to the embassies Incase you one japa them full the island, also ease of movement, see you see border and airport any way you want take japa. Clothes cheap beyond your comprehension. Nobody send your papa for here,it took me more than 6months to familiarize with the faces of my neighbor inside the same compound I still dey pass some for road without knowing them, because of work you don't see Dem at all,we pay Nepal bills through WhatsApp group 5k once card finish luckily we didn't pay last month and any issues is resolve them, less aproko, family pressure go reduce because you far from home and you have only your self to compete with na ahead you go dey reason, this are few of the good side and if you want to learn more good side or have any question you can let me know. But hold money na the reason I fit blend quickly without pressure like say na stroll I take, Lagos get stress na only money dey cool am |
