I took a big risk relocating from Ibadan to Port Harcourt, i had no one in Ph, no friend , no family, no money for accommodation , no savings, no money for food ,just my one way tfare from Ibadan to Ph. Landed in Ph homeless , roaming around Dline.

but it didn't take long, i became a millionaire in Ph without support from Anyone. That decision to move from Ibadan was the best decision of my life. It was scary, but i faced the fear and conquered it. My friend that followed me to take that risk, is now in Spain
Please show me the way

Not allowing everybody to be my friend.
You can simply just be an associate, accomplice.
You didn't say how it was a great decision.

For my contribution, I remember quitting my Nigerian job years ago to start online freelancing. I was earning a paltry sum and had to quit my job because I stumbled into an online post on freelancing.

That has to be the best decision I ever made because apart from having my profile on many foreign websites, freelancing enriched my CV, helped me earn over $50k, make money from writing an ebook published on Amazon KDP and exposed me to the sort of knowledge I wouldn't have had if I kept working for Nigerian companies

We got our paid paying first premium client...

If was a risk worth taking
I like what you did with your site. Nice one.

Leaving my comfort zone and place of certainty to venture into uncertainty.
Big a risk but the reward now is worth every of the risk taken

When I was still in Nigeria 2023, I resigned from my job of 400k monthly to pick up another multinational job of 250k. People talked me down and I was also scared too. My decision is because the new job offers sponsorship abroad to their staff at interval and I had the plan of travelling but I don't have the finance. So I see the company as sure bet for me to use achieve my travelling plans.

Sorry short, I travelled as planned and I have been in the UK since 2023 till now.

Lesson: if I had consider the salary of 400k compared to that of 250k, probably I would have been facing Tinubulation now.

Resigned from my well paying job to start a small company, and refused to take new offers when the business I ventured into seemed not to be paying my bills shocked

Please don't try this now, it was a very risky and daring move, I almost ended up a failure and regretting before God came through for me and things turned around for good like magic cry
Self-employment without close mentoring is suicidal. I've been there so I understand you so well.

No! I went to a celestial church at Olu obasanjo road with my friend, they sheltered us. I stayed just a month and learned a skill in barbering just for one month. I started to work at one salon around 2013, by 2015, I ventured into crypto trading, I learnt to trade Bitcoin. By 2017 , I hit my first $25k.. and it has been from one level to another. I just cut short the whole story for time sake
Which kind "bitcoin" were you trading? Bitcoin that has been falling

It was not a funny experience.

Funny enough, the first business I thought would make me the next Dangote that made me had the courage to resign was not the business that gave me my breakthrough at the end.

But one thing about self-employment or private venture is that you know you have no other option but to succeed, so you keep trying other things on the streets till breakthrough comes, that spirit was what saved me oh, if I had remained stubborn that I must make it from my initial business venture, by now na kpangolo I for de use waka for street de beg for alms, God forbid lolz

My wife had fibroid which was growing but both families advised against surgically removing it. I stood alone, convinced her to go for it and we have two beautiful children to the glory of God.

Leaving my old cycle of friends, believing in my solitude for two years with God grace and mercy.

Now the freedom and success is too loud for them to comprehend.

When you truly want to make it in life, change your friends and cycle without any drama nor fight.

They will try to mock you Out of it but trust your gut and have faith in God.

God never fails those that believe in him with gut's.
I can definitely relate

You are correct but I didn't pass through Igbo apprenticeship system known as "Igba boi".

I went to university, graduated, worked for some time and out of one kind self-induced motivation and fear of growing in a firm where challenges of juju and all those stuffs become normal to keep one's position, I made the decision to resign and pursue private venture/business centered around my field back then.

So it wasn't as if I passed through any form of apprenticeship to master the business before I ventured into it like the "Nwa Boi" guys that serve a master for some years before starting theirs.

I’m proud to be a CCC member
You can’t take that hospitality from us.
My fellow CCC members, like this content
I cant agree less.
I worshipped there for 20 years.
That was one of the best years of my life.
The church built me. Made me know what I know scripturally today.
CBF led by Prof SO Odeyemi played a great role in ensuring that happens.
Several bible quizes where we had to read Books of the Bible has been of immense help in shaping my knowledge of God's word.

My family left when we relocated to outskirt of Lagos from Lawanson.
Used to attend Lawanson parish.
So we got to this location very far from where we moved from, the parishes we found were more like jokes to us, qe just couldn't cope. The standard laid for our foundation was just too much compared to what we met in the new environment.
So we left.

But I must say. Celestial Church is blessed with the spirit of hospitality.

Slowly Letting go of my pride.

It only prevented me from getting loved because I was scared that if people knew me, they might hurt me and or they might find out that I'm not that interesting after all and finally leave grin
This led to series of games of Manipulation that made me appear to be what I wasn't. I ruined a lot of relationshipssssss this way

Pride prevent people from loving me because it built a wall around me that prevented people from knowing me.
One Love what or whom they know. Predictability/being predictable to a degree is a form of showing love.

If people don't know you because you make it hard for them to, they get uninterested and leave.

If people know you but they find out you're not as interesting as they thought you'd be, they'll still leave

If you do, you die. If you don't do, you'll still die. Isn't it better to do and die grin
well it’s not a bad thing in it’s entirety. You have to know how to balance it, know when to have pride and when not to so that’s another way to look at it

I worked as a barber for 2 years, in my first year as a barber , I had 1.2m naira savings between 2013 January to February 2014.

So you see, I had enough capital to go into trading. Besides, you don't need huge funds to start trading crypto. But I came in with over 1.8m naira then. I bought 1 Bitcoin, 100 , ethereum, dogecoin , several thousands amongst several others
For you to save 1.2m in one year meant you were saving 100k per month. What kind of barbing job will give you enough to save 100k monthly because you have to be earning like 400k to successfully save 100k monthly. Anyway, it might be possible since you were not paying rent thanks to the Cele Church, you were not paying bills either thanks to the same church. And you didn't have a family to take care of or send money back home. It was just you without rent, girlfriend and bills. Because that's the only way this your story adds up to make a meaning.
