I don't like this at all. This guy won the last governorship election but he was muscled out. He is now relegating himself to Senatorial contest, are Christians forbidden from governing Nasarawa state even when they are the majority?

Even though I am vehemently against Umbuguadu joining APC because it might be a political suicide as a result of; it might be a tactics for the APC bigwigs in Nasarawa state to distract his gubernatorial ambition it is very much true that the president is liberal and we are happy with his inclusive political approach!

Ombugadu has already declared interest in contesting for Senate. Since there is a vacancy in that district, they will give him an automatic ticket.

PDP is a sinking ship, politicians are scared of running on it's platform because the courts might kick you out even if you win depending on which faction wins at the end of the day.

Apparently, his declaration for Senate is not longer an open secret! but what about the governorship election that Christians and indigenous people of Nasarawa state are yearning for? Who will fill that space and vacuum? Don't you know a lot of his supporters particularly the indigenous people of Nasarawa state and Christians have invested their hope and trust in him as the last pathfinder to the actualization of their dreams? What Umbuguadu did is second to non as a traitor and some of us are still mourning that! It is a political suicide that he might never recover from the shocks when the chips are down! He has not but have you forgotten that it is better to be a king in hell than to be a servant in heaven? Secondly, this political escapade is a true definition of greed! Yes because as a result of Umbuguadu Nasarawa state has six house of Assembly members and more are coming out to vie for the sits in Nasarawa state by riding on his political popularity given he comes from the most popular religion and tribe in the state what about their ambition? Nassarawa had always been a progressive state since the days of al makura with cpc then wrestling power from almighty pdp......it was obi's decisive politics of religion that caused the upset in 23 and that has been roundly taken care of come 27......Nassarawa is a goal for apc.....even atiku doesn't come anywhere close .
