Judolisco:True. Some people just don't want to accept that in less than 3 years, the man has taken on and solved many of the big problems the country has faced for several decades. The electricity one, I don't think that will be solved for another 20 years. That's because with privatisation, most of the elements required to improve things are no longer in government hands. I am not sure the government is even generating electricity any longer. Everything has been privatised, so it now depends mostly on private generating companies. Private companies will not invest more in generation unless they are sure they will.make their money back and since most Nigerians does have the means to pay, it would be a miracle if all of Nigeria has 24/7 electricity in the next 20 years. Except ofcourse, Mr Dangote comes into the fray. The only thing the government controls now and which it can invest in to improve is the distribution infrastructure. So anyone expecting a government to 'solve' the electricity problem probably doesn't understand the current set up. |

seunmsg:Why do you love to deceive yourself? It is his interest that was served by resolving the deal. How convenient was it that Oando was the preferred buyer of all Eni's onshore assets in Nigeria? |

DeLaRue:You guys are so easy to deceive or you are just plaim dats boys working for your pay. In 2023 Oando bought over Eni's assets, onshore assets in Nigeria and in exvhange they get OPL245 from Shell. You think it was all about the country? |

| Re: President Tinubu Resolves The OPL 245 Oil Well Dispute by Irony1: 9:51pm On Mar 05 |
Shimbo96:In 2023 Oando bought Agip's onshore assets. The same Oando thatvwas nearly bankrupt before 2023 managed to buy Agip's assets. Una no dey read im between the lines OPL245 was the subject of a tussle between Shell and Agip. |

Gotocourt:You guys are not reading the writing on the wall here. Prior to 2023 Oando was almost going insolvent that they were owing salaries. After inauguration, Oando bought over Agip's onshore assets. OPL245 was subject of Litigation between Shell, ENI and Federal government and somehow conveniently ENI gets the asset. Una no dey read between the lines. |
| Re: President Tinubu Resolves The OPL 245 Oil Well Dispute by wallrichy: 9:54pm On Mar 05 |
Nna, is it not better that Oando buys whatever you are imagining and the country prosper rather than stay stagnant in cooler that Buhari locked the country for good straight 8years, enriching some swines through subsidy and other direct fx deal with Emefiele. Is it not better if development can come and meet you in your village and environment.... Whatever anybody does with Nigeria resources, as long as it's for development and betterment of the society. It's okay.... Irony1: |
| Re: President Tinubu Resolves The OPL 245 Oil Well Dispute by Irony1: 9:55pm On Mar 05 |
DeLaRue:There's nothing pragmatic about that deal. It oboy served his interest. Oando now gets Agip's onshore assets. |
| Re: President Tinubu Resolves The OPL 245 Oil Well Dispute by Irony1: 9:56pm On Mar 05 |
Lithiumite:How come Oando gets to have Agip's onshore assets? How convenient now that Agip now gets that field away from Shell. |

| Re: President Tinubu Resolves The OPL 245 Oil Well Dispute by Irony1: 9:58pm On Mar 05 |
wallrichy:You see why Nigeria can never be good. It is because of people like you. I don't have an issue with whomever buys it but let there be transparency. The same Oando prior to 2023 election was cash strapped and almost gping under, lo and behold after inaugutation with speed they had bought Agip's assets, how come? Which magic dem use? |

seunmsg:Sometimes e go just be like say this man dey use juju talk to people. Almost all governors don decamp finish, Most people abusing and cursing him don dey hail him, Disputes of donkey years resolved by just talking at a round table. And so on... No be juju be that? |
| Re: President Tinubu Resolves The OPL 245 Oil Well Dispute by Guestmale: 10:17pm On Mar 05 |
Irony1:Signed in Abuja, the agreement marks the resolution of a dispute spanning more than 15 years. It restores clarity and stability to an asset widely recognised as one of Nigeria's most commercially promising deepwater blocks. With the dispute now settled, the pathway is clear for Final Investment Decision on the Zabazaba–Etan development, a project capable of adding approximately 150,000 barrels per day to Nigeria's production capacity and strengthening the country's long-term energy outlook. What benefits has Nigeria gained for these 15 long years, but now the issue was settled, how was Nigeria short changed. |

Guestmale:Oga you are dodging the real issue here. There is a transparency issue here. Obviously you know what i am talking about that is why you are trying to deflect the topic. Of course 150k barrels will he added the issue here is what is Nigeria's gain from the sales of that 150k barrels according to their agreement? |
| Re: President Tinubu Resolves The OPL 245 Oil Well Dispute by Guestmale: 11:07pm On Mar 05 |
Irony1:How did I deflect the topic. Nigeria will get its own share of the deal. You're only preemptive of what took place without having full details of the agreement or have concrete evidents of Nigeria being short changed. |
