In simple terms, if you don't want your child to be disciplined. Don't send your ward to a command school
You guys should stopped using words that are not related in meaning to what you suffered. This is not disciplined! This is abuse! And that's what happened to you too. Stop trying to normalise abuse.

Most command sch students are mediocre and poor

Not surprised you didn't understand what discipline means

All the students flogged like this during your days, what's their outcome now

Though I don't support unwarranted discipline but is this brutally according to the headline.

Wetin concern Bola Ige for this case now? How is it even relevant to the case under discussion?

Wow! This one struck deep o…Minister of Justice is yet to receive justice. What then is the hope of the common man? What a country!
As much as I don't condone this type of behaviour, but we all know that Nigeria is a lawless country where anything can fly.

If you said you would take laws into your hands like the bandits and BH guys, maybe you could get revenge, but you relying on any Nigerian institution to get justice shows you don't know Nigeria at all.

Anybody who went to a military school will know that such flogging are very normal. However if u didn't then u will definitely see this a barbaric. Lol

That is for her parents.
No man or woman dares touch my child, he will spend his days in confinement.
u would do nothing- na command schools we dey talk
during my time, they will even beat parents that come to complain join.
People that used to discipline children in the presence of their parents.

people already warned u- if u dont want your child to be flogged, dont send them to military schools.
They are not great schools anyway, so I dont know what your threat is about. If your child ends up there, it's because your socio-economic status is low and that's what u should work on first.

This is pure wickedness,
such sadist and inhumane evil people ( bursar, teacher, or administrators ) should not be entrusted with the welfare and development of young children.

I laughed at his comment. It seems he has a talent for being a clown. That nonsense he spewed there is meant for those hungry private schools. Paramilitary schools no send you. Worst you can do is withdraw your child from the school. You knew what you were getting into when you decided to join them.

Re: MaryJane Okonkwo, Command Secondary School Iyana Ipaja Student Beaten By Bursar by tellmemore15: 1:23pm On Mar 06
If you don't want your child to be disciplined with the cane, don't put them in Command Schools or any of the Military schools.

Over there, maximum discipline is the culture, a little close to the army.

Just to conclude, check command products they are doing well in the society. i rest my case

There's nothing funny about it. if you got worse than this during your days,I'm sorry, but you were abused and i hope you know it's not the right thing to do humans. Also i pray you heal from the trauma
Zocalite:

No trauma. However, inasmuch as time has changed, one need to be aware that children need to be raised properly else we risk creating bunch of wayward children. I will not allow my children to be beaten in this way; the pertient questions are:

1. What did the child do ?
2. Is this punishment for disciplinary correction or some form of hatred ?

This kind of flogging hasn't made any child unwayward

Us wey them flog more than this then, we still did worst things in the back of the flogger

Raising a disciplined child starts with parents attitude, spiritual upbringing, loving and caring with freedom.

It's well Sha

You said what?

How many ex commandos do you know , how many have you met or interacted with?

Some of the command schools have been established since the 80s and you are saying most are mediocre and poor.

What you are saying is over 80percent of all excommandos are mediocre and poor.
