Instead of them to carry placards and front the NFF/NSC offices, they are here writing sexy penetrating english cheesy grin and catching feelings on someone who dares come against their opinions.
They don't know reality is different from writing journals no one gets to read.
you with sexy penetrating behaviour nko? Can't you allow others believe or hope because there is actually reason to? The issue with people like you is that you feel you know all or figured it out all but I doubt because of your behavior of not respecting another man' s view. You can actually make a reasonable submission without being derogatory.
In simple words , what evidence do you have that the case was ditched ? Has FIFA called you? Are you one of them? Did Dr Congo show you any evidence or are you depending on media with their content creation? Can you explain what you meant by reality is different from writing journal nobody cares to read? If you can't answer these , then it will be nice to reduce your oral diarrhoea and respects peoples' views. angry

🚨Nigeria’s chances of reaching the 2026 FIFA World Cup are still alive, according to Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Mallam Shehu Dikko.

🧛Dikko🎙️: “As far as we know, FIFA is yet to give its verdict.

“We are monitoring the situation closely. The fact that DR Congo appears among the six nations to compete for the final two spots in the playoff is not enough to jump to the conclusion that FIFA has thrown out Nigeria’s petition. Some nations are also preparing for friendly matches. Things will change as soon as the FIFA verdict comes out.

"The FIFA we all know has a channel to pass such sensitive information across to the parties involved. The name of DR Congo appears on the fixtures for now because the matter brought before FIFA has not been decided. We are very hopeful that Nigeria will win the eligibility case, and the Super Eagles will proceed to play in the playoff, and possibly make the World Cup party. I want all Nigerians to remain calm, and wait for the final verdict."

🤔 Does Nigeria really stand a chance or is this more false hope? 🤔

Now with the insults and emotional rantings.

Is being hardworking prohibited in the part of Nigeria you come from?

Is this the way people that excel go through life, Nigeria football has been on a steady decline for the last 5-8 years and this is end result, abracadabra and court

The SE have failed to qualify for 2 consecutive WC tournaments, the U-23 no longer get to the Olympics, u20 and u17s are a sham yet rather than look inwards you chose to blame others.

If that doesn't make me patriotic then so be it, keep supporting foolishness
For the love of god mate, at this point you need to give it a rest already with your bad belle, overly negative, charged up, needlessly cynical posturing. You're just embarrassing yourself and fighting shadows. Nobody here asked you to be a cheerleader for the NFF or the Super Eagles. Nobody demanded blind loyalty from you or asked you to pretend the NFF is competent. We all know the NFF is incompetent. That's not breaking news, so please quit acting like you just discovered the matrix or something. As a matter of fact, I'll be the first to admit that Nigeria's handling of this entire World Cup playoff situation has been embarrassing at best, shambolic and criminal at worst. The NFF is first and foremost an organisation that react and panics instead of plans. Being proactive is not exactly their thing.

So we agree on that. Fine. But here's where you lose me, and where your argument collapses completely under its own weight: At what point did you become FIFA's chief adjudicator? When exactly did you receive the case files, study the eligibility documentation, consult the relevant statutes, and arrive at your ironclad conclusion that this is a dead case? Because you speak with the breathtaking confidence of someone who KNOWS not suspects, not fears, but KNOWS that Nigeria has no leg to stand on. Your performative certainty here is the very thing that exposes you as actually being the emotional and sentimental one in this discourse. I understand (almost more than most users here, as I've been following the SE since the 90s) the frustration with the constant avalanche of NFF incompetence year after year. You are correct to be angry about missed World Cups, Olympic failures, and youth football becoming a charade, all legitimate grievances, but you've allowed that frustration to curdle into an ugly, reflexive need to see Nigeria fail so that you can feel vindicated. You've dressed cynicism up as intelligence and called it patriotism on your own terms.

I'm not sure what exactly informs your confidence on this case, but the truth is no matter how sure you think you are, nobody can truly know how this case will end. FIFA's eligibility rules are not always straightforward. Precedents exist on both sides. Whether the complaint has merit depends on documentation and jurisdiction, neither of which you have access to.

I personally suspect it may go nowhere. But suspect is the operative word. There is a meaningful difference between "this looks weak" and "this is definitely dead," and you have vaulted over that distinction with reckless abandon. Why? Because being right feels better than being uncertain. Because after years of disappointment, you'd rather pre-empt the loss than risk being caught hoping. Because you're being sentimental about the case! So it's funny watching you cast aspersions on others being emotional when your entire posturing has the unmistakable fingerprints of someone who's bitter to the bone marrow at Nigerian football.

Don't get me wrong. You're free to criticize the NFF. I literally do that for a living. I'm probably the most anti-NFF person on this forum and beyond. So, yes, feel free to criticise the NFF. Criticise their strategy. I'm right there with you. But dude, at least have the intellectual honesty to admit what you don't know instead of packaging your frustration as foresight.

Just because the NFF failed to qualify Nigeria for the World Cup does not mean it should become a lifelong issue for you, to the point where you keep hoping and praying that the case before FIFA will fail.

Constantly downgrading the case before FIFA and even going as far as accusing the NFF lawyers of using ChatGPT to file an eligibility case against DR Congo players is a clear sign of disrespect to the NFF and the entire Nigerian football community.

You were not there when the case was filed, yet you chose to mock something you clearly know nothing about when it was filed, how it was filed, or how it will eventually end. FIFA certainly will not be writing to you personally about the verdict.

It is also interesting how you disappear when there is no news, but immediately come out to mock the NFF, Nigerian football, and our World Cup aspirations whenever a questionable or fake media report surfaces.

How can you confidently accuse the NFF of using ChatGPT to file an eligibility case against DR Congo. Na who do you self?

It’s just an expression of fear that the case may be ruled in Nigeria’s favour so they have to justify that fear through mockery and all sorts of slander! What’s even the big deal if the case doesn’t go Nigeria way? Will football stop being played in Nigeria? If I say it’s mental illness now some folks will say am going extreme again. Why can’t folks just ignore and come back finally to rejoice when Nigeria lose instead of coming to express their frustrations here every now and then, na wa o!

Seriously, i don't know what set of muntulas we have running our football walahi
Allow this case rest, go back, sit and brainstorm on how you would avoid such embarrassing situation in the future
Get down to work instead of hoping one day FIFA will suddenly look your way
No serious FA will continue to raise useless and non-materialistic hope of this kind in this century
Let us get rid of the useless greedy bad eggs in the NFF and move our football forward
Haba!!!

🇩🇪 Bayern Munich have almost eliminated muscle injuries thanks to an unusual method.

During training sessions, players are increasingly seen with small plasters on their ears because the club takes micro blood samples before workouts. Two key indicators are analyzed — lactate, which reflects current workload and endurance, and creatine kinase, which rises with micro-damage to muscles and is considered an early signal of a potential injury.

Based on this data, the coaching staff adjusts training loads in real time. If the indicators go beyond safe limits, the player’s intensity is immediately reduced.

As a result, Bayern have had almost no muscle injuries this season. The approach itself isn’t new (it was already used under Thomas Tuchel), but under Vincent Kompany the system is working noticeably more effectively.

The contrast is especially clear compared to last season. Back then, the Munich side suffered more than 20 muscle injuries in a year and were missing half of their starting lineup ahead of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Inter Milan.
