Sure, we dont need power. I guess I was wrong, In fact thanks for your wisdom. I will start a campaign to ask that we cease to ask for power or even have power in this country. Thank you, oh exposed and learned sage.

As for the bold, I have words. I am beaten.
All these entitlement mentality has to stop. Power does not come free of charge anywhere . How many people can afford to pay for band A electricity and yet band A cost is less than SA cost? Govt is already subsidizing power for the poor. If you need 24hrs light to watch Arsenal why not install your own 24hrs solar panels? Youths need to start accepting responsibility for better Nigeria. In China, youths are using their 24hrs light for production in factories, not watching Arsenal and Liverpool.

A new road will relief pressure on those old ones and new economic hubs will spring up......an importer than have his container cleared at calabar port or onne and will find it easier to evacuate to lagos or abj because of these kinds of insfrastructure.......lagos to PH to and fro can be done in a day......imagine how much of a boost this will be to the economy.....I am into logistics and we have alot of activities around the lekki axis,we now have quicker, less costly and easier turn around times for delivery because of this new road......imagine the multiplier effect across board......with this road, you can actually be working on ondo state and be commuting from lagos to and fro daily, imagine what this can do to the economy of ondo state......the lekki free zone alone has added billions to the economy of several communities within that corridor that were hitherto moribund before now,i know what eleko was like 20 years ago compared to now.
These are the positive benefits of having good and motorable road it opens up economic prosperity.

Who said anything about free power?
We are talking about fixing power in this country and you are saying entitlement mentality.
Are you alright?

Goodness. This country is finished.

And in your estimation, the reason we need power is because we want to watch football?
Chai.

You have not answered my question. How many people can pay for 24hrs electricity in Nigeria at average world rate per KW. Do you think investors are father Christmas? Priority first . First define what you need 24hrs for and demonstrate willingness to pay and let's see if you won't get 24hrs light within 12 months. Ordinary tolling of road, u go pay? Abi, Dem no dey toll roads for America?

The master plan for this major highway dates back as far as 1980s.
But unfortunately was abandoned and neglected.
Thank God for this administration.
However, my concern is security issues on this road when completed.
Infrastructures without battling insecurity is a major concern.
It's like building an express highway for bandiiiits and BH to ride their bikes and hilux vehicles straight to the south.

please can someone with data explain with out any insults, the cost benefit analysis of this project and why the Govt did not fix the grid first before commencing on roads that have alternatives. is this what Nigeria should be doing now?
Grid has subject us to borrow and embarrassment to international community

So let any body that have way to generate and supply do so at there on themes

Road will help to move goods and train will move more load faster

Imagine tran to sokoto carring petrol and maybe cloths that are needed of there while bringing charcoal, rice, tomato, tinko, rams and other things from the north, to the south

And abakaliki rice and red oil from east while transport and other necessities go to the east

This a long time plan just like dangote refinary

Our leaders don't think....
Petrol is above N1000 per liter ...
By the time it reached N1500...
Who will ply those roads....?
The CNG initiative is dead on arrival...
Tinubu should have invested massively in rails...
Its affordable, take a quite large no of masses and can pay for itself over a good no of years...
If you now add insecurity palava...
Its dead on arrival...

Give 5 ,reasons, we in the South need this highway
Take 13 reasons,sir.
1.Roads are essential infrastructure that act as the arteries of a nation, facilitating economic growth, social development, and connectivity. They are crucial for moving people and goods, connecting rural areas to urban centers, and supporting the overall quality of life.

2.Roads are essential for moving raw materials to factories and finished goods to consumers, which boosts internal and external trade.

3.They enable farmers to transport produce to markets efficiently, reducing post-harvest losses and increasing incomes.

4.Road construction projects, along with the subsequent logistics and transport services, create employment opportunities.

5.Improved road density is directly correlated with economic growth, with studies showing that better road infrastructure can significantly boost a country's GDP.

6.A strong road network signals stability and facilitates business operations, making a nation more attractive to investors.

7.Roads provide vital access to education, healthcare, and emergency services, connecting citizens to hospitals, schools, and social services.

8.By connecting remote or rural areas to urban hubs, roads help reduce isolation and provide, enabling access to employment and economic opportunities.

9.Roads allow for easier movement for personal travel, leisure, and accessing daily necessities.

10.Properly maintained, paved roads reduce the risk of accidents compared to poor-quality, unpaved surfaces.

11.Roads are essential for linking other transport modes, such as railways, airports, and ports, to final destinations.

12.Road networks enable the deployment of law enforcement and administrative services to remote regions, helping to maintain national security and the rule of law.

13.Reliable roads ensure that emergency services and relief supplies can reach affected areas quickly during crises.

When has good geography and economics helped us as a people. Really...?!

Nice write up though.

People have always found out ways to meet and do business.
These roads must be maintained....we are poor maintainers

The indignation of the obidient. Built on emotion and ending with abuse 🤣🤣🤣

The person is asking people to build an argument so that he can knock them down because they are unable to build their own case.

If no foolish person takes them on, he will say "you see - my point is valid"

I will point out your foolishness and my comment will be a light house to innocent souls who have not understood the deceptive maze of obidient foolishness.

From this point, your abuse becomes self confirming of your identity and nature.

You are so easy to suss out.
