The Bible, aside its religious connotation, is such an interesting read. The historical value is more than a masterpiece.

So I'm reading the Chapter 6 of Genesis where Moses recorded that there was a time heavenly beings which I believe could be fallen angels, found human women attractive and started copulating with them, resulting to the production of very gigantic beings on the earth.

Because the seed was corrupt, this caused the spread of terrible sins on the earth prompting God to ask for the ark to be built, so he could destroy the earth with flood.

That story is thought-provoking. And here are a few things that pricked my mind while I scanned through that chapter;

1. Humans are actually very good looking. For angels to find women attractive means they'd never seen anything like them. I think humans may actually look physically more attractive than angels.

Again, note that even defiant angels found women attractive, not men.

This means the angels had manly features, and at a point could switch on human dimensions. I also think angels don't come in female forms. God didn't create female angels.

2. There might still be sprinkles of fallen angels on the earth. Are they still actively producing offspring with human women, I can't say because the Bible wasn't explicit about it.

But are there descendants still on the earth? Very possible. One way to know one who could be is by defying natural odds to do something very heroic and outstanding.

People who are also very extreme when it comes to doing bad things could also be descendants of those fallen angels.

3. God regretted creating man. You can imagine the level of wickedness that will make God regret creating a being that the Bible recorded was made in his image and likeness. It means the corruption of man and the level of wickedness then was abysmal.

Just imagine a mother looking at a child she labored to deliver and painfully regretting why she gave birth to the child.

This can be heartbreaking.

Again, I believe without any doubt that no level of atrocity on the earth is new, even now. I also think it may not have reached the peak it was before the destruction by flood, but it's getting there.

4. Noah's ark was actually longer than a FIFA standard football field. It was also 40ft high, 3 decking. That was definitely a wooden massive ship on the ocean.

5. The ocean is a different world on its own. Nothing in the ocean was destroyed. Only land animals needed to be saved from the flood.

I'm literally scared of what is in the ocean deep. Only God knows. But it's unimaginable what is there.

Anyways, just felt like sharing this as it dropped in mind after reading that chapter. Quite random I know.

But, what are your thoughts on that chapter?

Of course they can all they need is body to do what humans are doing and since they existed before humans they knew how to make bodies using the dust of the earth to form bodies for themselves instead of breathing into the body they put on bodies like garments and start chasing women! Genesis 2:17

Angels are spiritual beings. Sexual urges (meant for procreation) don't exist in the spiritual realm because they are immortal. Their pleasure is a million times better than sex. Infact Jesus implies they're neither male nor female.
In Matthew 22:30 and Luke 20:34-38, Jesus states that in the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage, but will be like the angels in heaven.

You sound naive. Why must they make human male bodies? Why not females or dogs? Don't you think if they had sexual urges God would have provided an outlet, there'd have been males and females as in everything else?

God did not send prophets just to tell us about the past. He sent them to mankind as a mercy and as a warner to guide people to the right path. They sometimes remind us of past events, but it is mainly to teach lessons and to show the signs of our Lord. All heavenly beings are masculine that is why God only created Adam when He decided to make a creature in the image of heavenly beings it was later that females came into the scene to be a helper for the man! Genesis 2:18, 21-23

Do you know the bible we have today, the one used by colonisers is a revised Bible? meaning they removed lots of important information from the bible.

The more complete Bible with many more books is The Ethiopian Bible. It was never edited or diluted, just wasn’t converted to english much.

In the Ethiopian Bible, it is said that the cast down angels have been bounded already, and are in the bottomless pit, courtesy of Angel Uriel.

Also the giants were very tall, like 10 story building, and at one point, they started to eat humans because they ate a lot.

It was this cry of the people that the angels saw and heard, that they decided to intercede on behalf of humans.

There is a lot of missing piece around the story and others.

Humans are created with a basic sex urge. Angels are created with pure pleasure that is different and a million times better than sex - they are pure spirit. Male and female are two sides of a coin that need one another. Angels are spirits, complete onto themselves.

Satan is the one who misled them that human males (masculine human) are enjoying things they don't that's what prompted them.

But things have to make a little bit of sense, don't you think. Angels have no sense of eating, for example, because they are spirit.
Also, just because they were present at creation doesn't mean they can create - they can't say "let there be light" and another sun appears!
