I have about 12 million Naira. My entire savings. Which would you suggest I go for between Enviable transport investment and mutual funds/PiggyVest? Enviable Investment Pros: Overall profit is higher plus Weekly payouts saved over time gives opportunity to reinvest, add to fleet every few months and even few weeks down the line, double or tripple investment within a year. Faster room for growth and expansion of investment. (tricycle, motobikes, mini trucks, etc.) Con: Uncertainty of the future as the company is not licensed by the SEC and their record books are not public. Though they say they're insured and should the company ever go down, investors are guaranteed to get their capital back plus they've been in operation for over five years. Mutual Funds/PiggyVest Pros: Investments is 100 percent safe and secure Cons: Less Profit plus capital is tied down for a year. Only interest/profit is accessible. Investment growth and expansion much slower. |

Why not try money market. Your money and interest is not tied and you can pull out anytime. Interest is daily, not huge interest but it's fair since it's a short or middle term investment |

My brother, Enviable transport investment should be your last option, pls remove it from your mind because it's not approved by SEC nor regulated by CBN You can invest into money markets and Nigerian top companies like MTN shares and dangote cement shares and enjoy peace of mind. |

ezegold4we:stocks are a gamble rn, you may end up buying at the top, save your money in a slow money printer , after the election you can swing your deek however far and wide you wish too. The global uncertainty is even making the dollar unattractive. Be wise |

Ppn247:Run far from that Enviable Transport or whatever. Right now capital preservation and security should be your priority therefore I would advise that you go for PiggyVest |

The interest rate of Piggyvest is just too low these days with 600k profit on #10m for 6 months. It's not matching with inflation at all although it has proven to be a safe asset. It will even be better to buy and fence a land and wait for three years for better profit. Or split the #10m, keep some in Piggyvest and use the other to start a small trade/flip business that requires no fixed costs but you need to know what you're doing. Good luck |

Ppn247:Oga, like every reasonable person is saying, l advice you to run very far away from that Enviable Transport or whatever. Gee boys are getting smarter these days if you know what l mean. As for piggyvest, the rate is too low these days cus it's getting saturated already. With 10m, you do only be getting 600k every 6 months, which translates to a miserable 100k monthly. Oga, believe me, people that run lucrative everyday physical businesses make times five or more of that with just a third of that capital!!! So l will advice you to go into physical businesses, cus the streets is where the real money is!!! With just 5m out of that money, try opening up a Betting center in a busy location. Believe me, in less than 6 months, you will be making times three of that miserable 100k monthly that piggvest is offering you for 10m. Take like 2m and invest in goat rearing. Believe me in six months time, you're already smiling to the bank. Take 3m and invest in Gas re-filling. Then keep the remaining 2m as your feeding money. Manage these three investments well bro, and you're set for life. The sense in diversifying the capital into three different investment is that even if one of them isn't doing so well at a particular point in time for some reasons, at least you do still be making something from the other ones. If you're interested in any of my ideas. Then indicate, let's talk business. Shalom. |
