⚖️ 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Jean-Guy Blaise Mayolas, President of the Congolese FA 🇨🇬, has been sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of money laundering, embezzlement, and forgery.

💰 The scandal involved nearly $1.3M in FIFA funds.
👩‍👦 His wife and son were also convicted.

🏛️ Two federation officials received five-year sentences.

🤷🏽‍♂️These funds were originally intended for the development of women’s football and the construction of a training center.

A dramatic fall from power that shakes Congolese football governance.

For the avoidance of doubt, this post is about the FA of Congo Brazzaville 🇨🇬, not Congo Kinshasha (DR Congo) 🇨🇩. Congo Brazzaville didn't qualify for both AFCON or World Cup.

Who told you they are not been approached? Do you work in the glass house or you are related to them or you are just speaking based on assumptions? Has any of the players come out to say they haven't heard from the NFF or they even tried contacting the NFF and got no reply?
Keep deceiving yourself. When last did the NFF hold concrete talks with prospective dual nationals? If not for Eric Chelle we would not have even gotten Ryan Alebiosu. We lost Edna Imade and now Carney Chukwuemeka who were low hanging fruits because of our unserious FA. These guys don't like foreign born players. They prefere Sodiq Bending and Daniel Bamayi. Dey play

With all the approaches at Eze, Tomori, Oliseh, Madueke, etc, did they agreed to play for Nigeria?
Or you want the NFF to come out and tell you that they approached a particular player and the player turned them down. I guess you haven't worked in a discreet government establishments or a multinational company and that's why you think it's everything that must be brought to the masses or the social media. Or you are not aware that this same inept NFF according to you has been holding talks with Kayode of Brentford and Honest Ahanor of Atalanta, so why would they ignore Chukwuemeka? Most Nigerians always act like they know it all, more than those at the helm of affairs, until they get to same position and find out that they are less intelligent, this beat describes you

I remember saying this guy, rather than Adams should start alongside Osimhen at the AFCON. I was laughed to scorn. Now he is outscoring Osimhen in the same league with a weaker team.

They preferred to start an injured Osimhen against Morocco when he was on the bench, by the way.
Onuachu has never been fantastic for Nigeria , everything that you remembered is good grin The SE style has never helped Onuachu , even when we need him most , he couldnt deliver .....

He is growing into his role gradually, making his mark in the UCL and very soon his name will be mentioned as the world best. In the coming years, he will be remembered as a true legend. His fighting spirit — fierce and relentless like a lion — is simply extraordinary.

Asin ehhn we Nigerians dont like analysing or fairly giving our opinions… once a player refuse to play for us it turns out that NFF was careless about their switch..
This guys simply dont wanna play for us.
Imagine the Tammy Abraham period, imagine Ebere Eze after appearing in super eagles camp…imagine how we all over Gabriel Agbonlahor… most of these guys dont wanna rep Nigeria…. everything is not NFF this NFF that

All lies. That's how they avoided calling up Tobias Lawal when they could have found a work around. Same Issue with Gift Orban.

So because these guys turned us down in the past we should not pursue other dual nationals in the future? How about the ones we have now still eligible? Carney was there and no concrete efforts were made. Now he is with Austria. You have someone like Edna Imade who wanted to play for Nigeria yet was never called up until Spain finally called her up. We need to be more aggressive in pursuing these players instead of being passive. Other African countries are reaching out to their diaspora to improve their NT and some of you are here making excuses for the NFF🙄 and content with below average players and wonder why we are struggling to qualify for World cups.

Victor Osimhen starts vs Liverpool.

He scored the winner against them earlier in the league phase in a 1-0 win and really battered VVD.

Today the part 2 plays out.

Monster Machine class in session again.

Did they tell you they didn’t pursue it?
and Who told you its becos of these facts you mentioned we are struggling to qualify for the world cup?Go pack all of them in Super eagles and give them poor coach, we will still struggle to qualify.
All the Mitchelle Alozie, Ashleigh plumptre, Esther Okoronkwo, Tony and Nicole Payne, Echiejini, Lookman,Aina,Alebiosu etc that switched to Nigeria, were you the one that persuade them to come?
When one player dumps us, NFF wahala, when more foreign breeds switches to Nigeria all of you will remain quiet and not applaud such switch and move…
Baba the ones that will play will not give us stress.
And you think some players are not catching the eye of NFF currently
