This is not practical

A good plate of food in Ghana cedi is 190cedis which is equivalent to 19,800Naira

I bought Car coolant for equivalentof 45,000naira

The Naira is so useless in ghana that if you mistakenly bring it out.........

If you earn in Naira and you visit Ghana, your body will tell you for sure but if you earn in cedi and you visit Nigeria then you are a big boy

The only thing cheap in Ghana is chocolate and toys

Na fact, when i was in Ghana
I literally had everything sent to me from Nigeria(had easy access to transport)
Cuz the prices were crazy both tenure of Buhari
If you remember those time we buy ordinary earphones for 200/250 it was 1k5 in Ghana.
I had 2000 pieces sent to me sold it at 650
Used that to pay my school feels and rent
Still had more than enough left
Ghana life style be hard waaa

Average rent in Nigeria should be lower than in Ghana. City center should not be the metric

Cheapest in what sense exactly?!!

1. POOR and practically unavailable electricity (one of the poorest in Africa).

2. Some of the worst road networks and road quality.

3. One of the most corrupt leadership at all levels on Earth.

4. Don't even get me started on Security and Healthcare.


So... Define cheap again!

It does not portray Nigeria in a good light either. Unless poverty and hardship are good light to you. The standard of living and purchasing powers of Ghanian are better than Nigerians.

With these data, I will categorically say purchasing power is higher in Ghana than in Nigeria despite some items are cheaper in Nigeria.

If you go to neighboring countries as a Nigerian today everything will be expensive for you, same applies to traveling abroad, things you use to easily buy before now you have to think twice. Before you go to shops like next, marks and Spencer, John Lewis etc, as our purchasing powers started getting bad, Nigerians started visiting primack etc, today under this crazy man and his son, Nigerians cannot even afford primark again, it is poundland pepco they are managing. Abi how will you buy an ordinary shirt for £30-50? Yes before no problem but today with exchange rate of 2k to £1, does it make sense to buy an ordinary shirt for N100k?

Living cost / average salary = the Better living. So a Ghanian still saves and live better than a Nigerian.

Nigeria is actually cool.... I wish our Government can do better...
