I think the president is too preoccupied with politicking because I don't see the why Ribadu should be holding a very sensitive post like the NSA.....I think he should invite someone like ihejerika who was about to crush those ragtags before Tribal card was infused by northern oligarchs in the fight against banditry

The chief of army staff is very incompetent. He is more interested in rehabilitating repentant terrorists than killing them but when the terrorists catch his soldiers, they show no mercy. This is why it is dangerous to have terrorists sympathizers heading our security forces.

Over 100 soldiers killed since the beginning of the year so meetings will not stop the attacks, neither will changing service chiefs make any difference until we are ready to confront the root of the problem.

The terrorists say that they are fighting for a country to be governed with Sharia criminal laws.
The terrorists emerged shortly after the political and religious leaders in the now 12 sharia states in northern Nigeria set aside the constitution of Nigeria and adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system.


The terrorists may want the whole of Nigeria but that will be impossible.
So let them and those sharia states have Islamic Republic of Arewa to be governed with Sharia criminal laws.

The solution is for the military to be proactive not reactive..take the fight, battle, bombing, drones, fighter jets to the terrorists hide outs bomb and kill and wipe out many of those terrorists away and arrest and presecute those that supply weapons, ammunition to the terrorists and also arrest and presecute their sponsors.. terrorism will now reduce and gradually end in Nigeria

Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.

This is a recipe for collateral damage. There is nothing that any military formation fear than an ambush. Unlike Isreal, this is like a guerilla warfare.

The military are almost getting there all they need now is to partner with Ukraine on the Utilization of advanced sensor technologies to detect and track enemy movements together with a very strong aerial coverage

Empty airheads the whole lot of them. That chief of air staff deserves to be sacked. Nigeria is losing the war against terrorists because the air component is severely lacking. How can 4 bases be overrun and the airforce nowhere to be found? Till date we don't know where the camps of Boko Haram are but they know all the camps of the Nigerian army!

Boko Haram has more information and operational security than the Nigerian army. How do they meet, strategies and plan these attacks without the army knowing before hand? How can hundreds of armed people be mobilising in an area with sparse vegetation, approach an army base on foot, do so without air cover or close air support and overrun not one but 4 military bases in one week? How?

The truth is they are just playing politics with this whole thing
