Which Superstar? Eze that honored invitation to train with us in London?

He waited in vain for a call up to SE then
All we needed to do was to cap tie him.

Saka and Oliseh were nobody as at the time we talked about then here.

NFF no approach them at the appropriate time. Perhaps, they couldn't identify their talent.
Rohr bleeped up in Eze but if the same Eze wanted to play for us wholeheartedly he would have done that with less persuasion, but instead he preferred accepting a call up to rep England u20 at the expense of the super eagles

Pinnick really did all he could especially in getting Saka, Eze and Tammy and amongst the trio the duo that seemed likely were Tammy and Eze

Tammy after meeting Pinnick couple of times accepted to play for us but changed his mind after pressure from the English FA coupled with his good performances for Chelsea then

Eze trained with the team in England but Rohr refused featuring him in any of the friendlies, also he didn’t call him up for subsequent afcon and World Cup qualifiers afterwards. Eze started gaining momentum in the championship with Reading which attracted the English FA and the rest was history

Rohr only called Eze up when he started emerging as one of the bright talents in the English 2nd tier but by then he has already caught the attention of the English FA

baba if them pick from Africa, the Asian football federation will protest it…its their slot, it cant go to africa laiye laiye

you are absolutely right but also absolutely not knowledgeable enough to know the reason orban is yet to play for us. Baba really want to play for us. The same issue with players real nationality is the only factor withholding gift orban invitation. The guy for don play for Nigeria since but it's not yet verified if he is from togo or Nigeria. NFF yes, can be very annoying about our sport development but you can't take away the fact that they understand the politics of the game by being careful. Reason this DR Congo case will chart a new path. Some of these players that chose other countries over us were contacted. Besides Chelle is looking for players that fits his philosophy and at least will challenge or even bench our current players.
I think Orban is more Togolese than Nigeria. And the NFF knows this . He speaks better french than English

Leave them naaa, them think say na everyone go wan reason Nigeria….if yoy like approach some of those players from kindergarten they will tell you “they wanna focus on their career for now”….when their eyes open boom!! they are already in French, spanish,English,German team…..
remembered one guy that was in bundesliga then. I cant remember his name now but he was of fair complexion. We shamelessly pursued that guy but he did not play for us. Doubt if he later played for germany.

You are the one saying the right thing not Forgiveness.

Imagine after you have reached an agreement with someone who regards you as a son,and then turn around and betrayed him and disgraced the entire nation on the process. And they think an ego infested NFF would continue to repeat such overture.

And the second bolded,
Is this not the right time for a country as big as Nigerian to make the official call up.
If you ask you ask me,they should direct their 80% of their blames to Eze and maybe 20% to Rohr for not have cap tied an 18 year English born

Noah Sarenren Bazee.

Another is Felix Uduokhai. Both fit into your fair complexion description of German-Naija borns playing in the Bundesliga then. We chased both.

Throwback Thursday: Kelechi Iheanacho's 2020/21 season in the EPL that also had an FA Cup Glory

1. First VAR goal in England was scored by Nacho.

2. Till today, Iheanacho is the Highest Scoring African player in FA Cup History. He won the FA cup too in 2021 alongside Ndidi. That run saw him destroy Man Utd and others

3. First and only EPL player to score on every day of the week within a single league campaign.

There were good reasons then why TheGoodJoe and I called Nacho the Alien Kid. His left foot was the best in the Super Eagles when he was a mainstay.

20 y/o forward, Abubakar Abdullahi scored again yesterday in a 2-2 draw vs Lommel and has now racked up 9 goals, 2 assists (11 G/A) predominantly featuring as a Right Wing forward for Gent U23 in the Challenger Pro. He is also a CF prospect.

That does not mean anything. Leon Balogun mother tongue is German, and he talks with a German accent but played for Nigeria. You guys need to stop making excuses for the NFF incompetence. Also, what evidence is there that Orban played for Togo at any level? There is no record of him ever playing for Togo. So if he has at least 1 Nigerian parent, He should be eligible to play for Nigeria

Rhor was more into the German born players. If Eze were German he would have been capped by Rhor long ago After all Okoye got his 1st cap while playing in the German4th division. Dude fumbled on Eze big time. angry

Left Armenian topflight for 4th tier football in Spain. Well, wish him well.

A younger Ibrahim Alani is with the Valladolid main team and hardly gets a look in.

and where is Okoye playing now? For him to make progress from the 4th tier of German football to top tier of Italian football since Rohr handed him his debut in the super eagles implies that the German tactician unearthed a good talent for us

Don't play smart on me,you said he waited in vain, then I asked you how long is waiting in vain "did he wait up to 25 or 23" but now you want to put it on me that I implied he should wait up to 25 years.

What I was trying to do is counter you he did not wait any long.
How long from the time some here noticed his talent to point he was called up by English FA? And was just about 21/20 years then.

You don pass to dey follow dem dey shout NFF this NFF that for everything wrong in our football just because everyone would be against them whether right or wrong.

They were able to convince Lookman who is already an African footballer of the year winner, that is something.
Almost half of our X1 team is foreign born but none of you will notice that.
But they must spread red carpets and red roses for bunch of selfish kids
So if na ya pikin, you will tell him to wait till when he is 23 years or 25 years, before taking offer from England?

Football lifespan is short. 2017 - 2018 was too long to wait. That coach should had called him immediately after he trained with SE to another match.

This was not NFF's fault. Na coach I dey blame but no mean say NFF no get em own issue.

We are saying the same thing. The coach messed up. Like one alleged, he was more interested in German born.
