Exactly what I keep saying. I don't know why these guys are this heartless because e no go funny when they start misbhaving. The only thing I benefited from govt was susidy and now it is gone.
But govt doesnt understand that if I made 20m as a hustler last year with no income tax, i had other type of taxes to pay too which cut short of that money. Let say from that 20m, I spent about 6m to power my family house electricity via generator fueling, repairing, NEPA bill, etc. Now, govt takes about 4m from me as income tax, aside the other taxes they collected from me, I am left with 16m, but the 6m I spent on electricity must still be met? from where will i now add up the money in the 16m left to power electricity for my family home? It simply means the govt has reduced my quality of life. It simply means if i was able to supply to my self up to 20 hours of self generated electricity daily, I wont be able to do that anymore, I will have to either reduce it to maybe 3 hours daily or multiply my hustle to earn more which will mean paying more income tax.
We are not talking about the fact we need to drink bottle water. it cost me roughly 25k per month and times I have more people in, I spend more. Govt has taken income tax but didnt supply water, so where will I see the money to spend on bottle water? It means I may resort to satchet water. Govt further reduced my quality of life. I can go on and on. To Tinubu, anyone earning 40m per year is rich. But honestly, u are not. U are just a bit comfortable. By the time he takes about 9m from it as income tax, u are left with 30m. That means most of the stuff u were able to do when u earned 40m per year, u cant do them.
Remember, u have healthcare to care for, for ur kids, ur parents, ur spouse, Nigeria is poor, so for every man who earns 40m yearly, there are list of dependants who could have been cared for by the govt but no, they arent. Nigerians are facing mad housing crises as we speak. Govt has no plan. Those in informal sector will rarely get any benefit of anytype. No matter how much u earn, no one will learn u a kobo. Damn, Nigeria was designed to make u poor till u die.

Bro, I am exhusted. These men take our oil revenue, tax us left, right and center. Normally, Nigeria should have no business with UK tax system.
Guy, Nigeria has gold, liteum, uranium, oil, gas, endless lands for agriculture, cashew, like the list goes on. But we have leaders who never invested the money into proper education to enable us produce finished goods from these raw mateirals. We allowed forigners loot these resources and we go back to borrow money from these foreigners, now we need to tax our people to death to recover money. While these politicians live in plenty, sophisctaed estates home and abroad for their generation unborn.
Nigerian leaders, is this fair? Is this fair? I spend so much to live my life, it is not even enough. Taking even 500k from me again will ruin me. I am tired and frustrated.

No, you guys should maintain multiple taxation with lack of power supply, Instead of you to reach out to Abia state to teach you how they achieve 24/7 power supply , your priority is to tax our capital in the bank, tax every transaction, tax our goods on the bad roads , we keep fooling ourselves, which money are the commercial drivers paying on the road within our cities called security money? Why do we need to pay when we take a matter to police station? Everything is already privatized, we run our own generator, our own water, you are not qualified to collect tax

You that understood.....was he talking to Tinubu alone or the entire federation? Now take lecture: subsidy is paid from federation money. So the three tiers of government are paying for it. As subsidy has been withdrawal the same three tiers withdrew it and shared it amongst themselves. Taiwo is saying that if these three tiers spend the money in areas that will benefit the people hardship will be mitigated.

Funny 🤣..... there's constitutional provision of sharing of federation account every month. Not by any president. It's enshrined in the constitution. You are the one that don't understand how the system works.
