If barley can be successfully grown at scale, it will reduce dependence on imports, create opportunities for thousands of farmers, and strengthen the local value chain |

A good and laudable initiative But! Will the bandits allow the farmers to practice their farming in peace as long as there preferred flag is not hoisted in Northern Nigeria? Disintegration of the country along ethnic/religious lines is the only solution to Nigeria problems. Then, Bandits and Terrorist will have country of theirs and practice their religion based on the ideology that they seek for! The unknown gunmen may perhaps end their struggle and allow peace in the East. They call it land of rising sun 🌄. Let see if the sun will rise or not! The Oduduwa will go their own separate way and have freedom and peace in their land - possibly bringing an end to the unending massacre of her people by marauding bandits/herders who have led siege in their territory. Put an end to century long blood shed in the middle belt. The only sin they committed is that they have refused to concede their fertile lands to stranger and, rejection of certain religion! The contraption called Nigeria will never work. Divide the country now OR the nation will continue on its spiral path to total destruction. A country where life is no longer sacred and is hacked at will by the killers! |

Something that is very valuable and marketed globally since Tell me what hindered Nigeria since Is it white men that refused to give us seeds of the crop since or we refused to bring it to Nigeria? Useless country. The palm oil we were once a champion in, other countries don take over. Even maize, we cannot be top growers. Something is very wrong with Nigeria Na only cassava we sabi pass for garri Because of poverty mindset |

I see some deluded data boys crediting their paymaster for a research carried out by a foreign company😂😂 I guess they also have issues with reading as part of the requirements for being a Zumbie! Even after this research, the organisers will have to contend with insecurity, inconsistent power supply and accessible roads...if they are finally successful, the production cost will be so huge, they will sadly have to go back to importing! That's what happens when an administration fails to do what is primarily their most basic duties..securing the lives of their citizens! |

It will definitely be in the North...! Southerners nor dey take agriculture seriously. Many of us will rather build Fuel stations, estates and hotels than farm or rear animals. |

davillian:If you are in-tune with the affairs of our great country, you should not be hearing from me first that, the Siemens power project is ongoing and projected to boost our transmission. Also, Securing the life’s and property of Nigerians has been the topmost priority of His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR). The current counter terrorism initiatives ongoing has never been initiated in the history of our country. It’s a gradual process. Be patient. |
