Nigerians should be happy that Tinubu is correcting the errors of past leaders

Re: Nigerians Should Be Happy That Tinubu Is Correcting The Errors Of Past Leaders by franchasng: 9:17pm On Mar 12
Please list the errors and the corrections.

Removal of petrol subsidy? That scam?

The only thing Tinubu would have done for Nigeria and Nigerians will remain forever grateful to him was complete restructuring of Nigeria's electoral law and doing away with manual collation of election results which would give Nigerians the power to elect their preferred leaders and reject bad leaders.

This alone would have transformed Nigeria

Nigerians should be happy that Tinubu is correcting the errors of past leaders

Every Nigerian leader claims to be correcting the errors of past leaders. Nigerians have heard it since 1960

Nothing new, it has become stale

Sincerely! Nigerians will never appreciate His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) until he leaves that office.

Look at everyone who made impact on Earth since the existence of mankind. They were never appreciated while on Earth.

Nigerians will look back someday and acknowledge that. they witnessed the life and times of His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR)

And the errors will take how many years to correct ?
It took Alex Otti less than two years to correct the twenty four years of past administrations in Abia State.
Go to Umuahia, ABA and other parts of the state to see things .

It shall never be well with anyone who says that Tinubu administration is doing fine. How can Nigerian of past decades be filled with good memories compared to the present.
Imagine then a level 08 graduate living a comfortable live 15 years ago while cruising with a good ride. Same man in level 13 is broke because the naira under the useless APC administration is useless despite the increase salary earning, we are more poorer.

Then 1USD=N150,
minimum wage was N7,500 (50USD). Today, 1USD ~N1500, minimum wage=70,000(~46USD). If any of you don't understand this simple maths and how bad Nigeria naira has gotten them may lives get worst than the naira.

Since December, national grid keep on collapsing, as of January till now, we have not seen light. Never have we experienced this gross level of incompetence.

No matter the amount of reforms in electoral laws, so long as Nigerians refuse to behave properly and stop politicians from cheating them at elections, nothing will change. It is Nigerians that accept payment for votes, they hack the INEC servers, they snatch ballot boxes, professors alter result sheets. So long as we don’t turn a new leaf as people, nothing will happen that will benefit us.

No, if you reduce human interference in any system or process, you will reduce human manipulation also. That is why every nation and organization encouraged automation. We cannot continue to live in past while other nations advance and improve their systems using modern approaches. There is no justifiable reason for Nigeria to continue to use manual result collation for our general elections, any excuse being given is flimsy and an excuse to rig the election by the incumbent government.

Our own electronic system is almost impossible to hack.

The polling unit result sheet form EC8A where the polling unit result is recorded is snapped and uploaded. Nobody can hack such for over 100,000 polling units within few hours, it's impossible bro.

The incumbent President doesn't want to do it because he wants to exploit the lapses in manual collation to his advantage, it has nothing to do with hacking or lack of internet coverage in Nigeria. All those excuses are baseless.

Anybody praising Tinubu is either being intentionally wicked, forgetful or just pretending.

Just as you said, many years ago, Nigerians prayed for a government job or any good job after university to live a good life.

Like you pointed out, government secondary and primary school teachers were able to build decent houses (bungalows), bought cars or motorbikes, trained their children in school comfortably. Same applies to civil servants from grade level 8 and above.
My father was a civil servant, when he built his house, a very large bungalow with plenty rooms and owned a motorcycle, I don't think his level was close to level 6.

But today, tell me if any civil servant that is not in a position where gets kickbacks or involve in office corruption can comfortably build a bungalow under Tinubu's regime?

In fact, under Tinubu's regime, government secondary and primary school teachers, civil servants that are below grade level 15 cannot build a bungalow till they retire. They cannot even afford a decent Tokunbo car unless they took loans or get help from family members and friends living abroad or earning higher.

That is the most honorable way to measure a good government and the only way to compare Tinubu's calamitous regime with the past regimes

So he has erased poverty 100%, all the roads are now tarred and motorable, all the towns and villages now have pipe borne water, all the school are now renovated and have necessary equipment, all government hospital are now well equipped that no more need to travel out of Abia for medical attention and the civil servants are now well paid that they don't need any agitation for salary increase.

The ones he has even been able to achieve, all thanks should go to Tinubu for increasing the monthly allocations to state governments.

You don’t seem to have a sound IT knowledge. IT experts all agree there is no system that cannot be hacked. Telling me you can’t hack the INEC system shows you lack knowledge of IT. No country in the world relies completely on IT to collate and transmit election results. Because nobody can guarantee lack of failure. And if it fails the whole election stands to be cancelled. That’s what mandatory transmission means. After spending billions with several months of resources input into it, together with a possible constitutional crisis, only a stupid president will allow such clause in our laws. Because at the end he will be blamed for failures. In most developed countries, they combine manual counting with electronic transmission. And where electronic transmission fails, they fall back to manual results collation. That’s what we have in our present amendment. That’s the most pragmatic thing to do.
