Oga, why are you reporting these people to me, I am not a class prefect writing the names of noise makers down.

Also last I checked, I wasn't a mod. I am just an ordinary anonymous poster that has seen Obidients rail against people needlessly.

Remember, I also didn't say people are not pushing back against Obidients by being abusive in return, I just said Obidients started the nonsense and that is my humble opinion.

The moniker you mentioned, I myself don't agree with the naming and strategic placement of their gender to besmirch Okwute's character. I can do nothing about it and as the mods don't see fit to either, it appears we have to shrug our collective shoulders, accept it and plough ahead in our lives. There are tons of monikers named to disparage President Tinubu as well. We all know they are Obidients so maybe the poster is doing (needless) tit for tat, it is a shame.

Morning forward, please report abusive behavior from non-Obidients to the mods (as I know you will look away when your fellow Obidients do it). The feature put in place to do that is easily accessible and available as I myself used it on a few Obidients this morning.

Consider it a honour that you have been blocked, I wish my good friend SeeWahala for example will block me and yes there is thinly veiled sarcasm in there.

You already expressed why I mentioned you. You usually claim Obidients started the insults so I'm calling you to see who is starting with the personal insult and then tribal insult on this thread. It is clear it is those of the BATist persuasion that first launched abuses on this thread yet you still claim Obidients started the insults. On a wider scale, mrvitalis already referred your kind to the Jonathan era. So it's clear to the neutral and unbiased mind those who are the originators of insults and abuses but who have a problem when the favour is returned albeit with more bite and venom than they imagined possible. But why should you complain? Have you not heard the parable of lizards and ant-infested wood?

This was how cancel culture was becoming a major concern on twitter with the world at the verge of plunging into fascism before Elon Musk saved the world and bought the platform. What use is this politics section if everyone agrees with you and the only comment ypu see are those who align with yours? The politics section might as well be merged with the diary room. Not being able to stand contrary opinion is a mild form of extremism. I witnessed harmless comments of mine get deleted on threads, especially those about Reno Omokri. Such actions gradually dumb down the platform and make some of us consider leaving for good.

I have always said that the trolls just want my attention. They want to provoke me. They create threads and posts to cry when I block them because they are frustrated that they can't get my attention.

There is a level to which I can waste my time having a discussion, after that, I have to move on with my life like I did with that particular one.

I will not do dance competition with a madman in the market, so to speak.
