This is funny. Also very childish and a lame attempt to call everyone else st*pid. So the video posted of Maduka's blooper against Algeria's Team B after the one vs Tunisia at Afcon 2021 was nothing?? Was that not proof of Maduka's struggles in the role in the GWG? Maduka was rightly criticised as he hardly inspired confidence and composure in the role. It is well documented. What good looks?? You are stressing it so much as if we have not had guys like Abbey George and Osaze Odemwingie in the Super Eagles. Maduka is not the first light-skinned with good looks to dorn the jersey. zicky: |

Thank you so much. Silly of me to have even forgotten "Light-skinned" Carl Ikeme who was so impressive in goal for the Super Eagles. Were Nigerians insecure because of his good looks as a standout light skinned dude?? Did not his GWG Performancss speak for him? Has Maduka Okoye even impressed as half as Ikeme did in the Super Eagles?? So what is all this childish talk about good looks? Again, Thank You Elder Kog45. Beautiful reference. Kog45: |

Sad. Really sad. Afcon Winner in 1980 as the youngest guy in the team (about 17yrs I think). Afcon Silver medallist in 1984 and 1988 losing both to Cameroon. It was his goal in 1988 that was also incorrectly ruled out, if not Nigeria could have won yet another Afcon post-1980 in Nwosu's time. He was a brilliant midfielder. R.I.P legend. Nomyth: |

BankyGee:Banky, do you recall that the pic below was taken in february 2021 after a Napoli vs Juventus Serie A game in which Napoli won? Yep, the day Osimhen met CR7 face to face in a closeup manner. Osimhen met one of the GOATs and the greatest jumping athlete in football in 2021 and ever since then, him jumping power just dey go up and up. His first na 2023 vs Spezia, next was 2025 vs Fenerbahce and latest na 2026 vs Liverpool. Are you pondering what I am pondering? ![]()

If you're talking league form yes I get the logic, but in terms of how the SE plays Moffi is a better fit for our set up as it currently stands and is why he will be ahead of Onuachu in the pecking order. lbrichman2: |

TheSuperNerd:That's the thing, he can even shake like sands 😉 n GWG, buh that doesn't take away my points, wether flimsy or not OKOYE for me, Again who taking about dishonest here, if am be dishonest with my choice, what about you and others still backing Uzoho?? You all are being honest right??😁😁 |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 1:21pm On Mar 14 |
Uzoho that we also flogged or which one? Backing how? Oga just own the DISHONESTY. Even Charles, a bigger Maduka Okoye fan than you admittedly picked Stanley Nwabali for that trivia because he is at least honest on our GK position unlike you. do4luv14: |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by zicky(m): 3:07pm On Mar 14 |
TheSuperNerd:Why should I lie because of a player which I'm not a fan of none but support because he's a Nigerian. That being said, for me I still feel he was never really our 1st choice, He was considered to mount to goal for a short time, for me at that time the SE was still trying to get a 1st choice. Just like when Ejide was used at the 2026 Afcon over Eyeama. We all knew Eyeama was our no.1 |

TheSuperNerd:Don't be to emotional about this, it's just a debate which you drop. You don't expect everyone to go for one person. ☺️ Let's be real, Maduka had a good look (not light skin), that drove so many female fans crazy. His look and physique was a talking point in that Afcon which none of Osaze (another sweet boy) or Abbey (nothing special 😂) had. |

Kog45:Bro I never said he was criticised unjustly because of his look. What I'm saying is that many fans dwell more on his look than his performance on the pitch. You will hear talk like 'this fine boy go sabi keep ball so' |

TheSuperNerd:There is no dishonest here, and if there is it's coming from you, How many mistakes does Uzoho caused compare to that of Maduka, And pls discard that your dishonest talk, it's my choice to choose who I feel can do it, and if that's dishonest to you Then I don't know what honesty is to you |

Kog45:Now sah you are talking, and that why I laff Oga Lexy for bringing stage fright into the equation, so funny sah, Doc was even using Russia match again, like since when did we play that match compare to Okoye join Sparta in Holland, moving to Watford in England, and now Udinese in Italy |
