At a point when church buildings were becoming as comfortable and convenient as ever, as church leaders were doing everything to make their members feel as comfortable as possible in church services, to ensure they don't have any reason to stop attending, it's good to see that there were yet church members that don't see church buildings as something to comfort themselves about, but a place to gather together and worship God even in discomfort and difficulty as depicted in the photo below.

That's why it's important to invest more in the people that make up the church than in church buildings because they are the real church, and determine if the church is really successful or a failure, based on how they react to temptations, trials, persecutions, and the storms beating against them.

The greatest church in history which Jesus built didn't have a church building, yet they turned the world upside down.

That despite all persecutions and gates of hell the devil unleashed upon the church, as he couldn't prevail against them.

The church kept advancing and marching forward, that's why we yet have the Gospel of Jesus being preached to the ends of the earth today, and how the church became the biggest movement the world has ever known.

It's about the quality of the church members, not the church building.

To the people mentioning carnal man and things of the spirit, God Himself, the origin of all spirituals wants us extremely clean and healthy without blemish.

The flood there could potentially make everyone there unclean and less spiritual... if you really know what the spiritual stands for.

Hmm...why did the God they worship not stop the flood from happening in the first place and destroy lives and properties?

I might be wrong, but I think the Godly thing to do here would be to fix the drainage. Then invite their God to a clean environment where he can move freely.
