Tbf since the start of the year
Electricity Has been very epileptic

It's really very shameful indeed... I don't know how these our leaders don't get to bury their faces in shame because they travel to the western nations often and see what is obtainable there with regards to electricity power avaiability24/7

Maybe the grid is about to die finally. Power generation that has not been upgraded for eons why won't it keep collapsing?

Seems the power sector is going back to how it was in the past. Power started improving during the time of Jonathan. And has continued ever since until recently. Everything, except social media are on reverse. I'm certain, should government have total control over that, that too will collapse. They jacked up the price of petrol, floated the Naira, increased electricity tariff, introduced all kinds of charges here and there, and not to mention personal income tax which is still cooking. And of which many Nigerians don't even know what's waiting for them. Yet, nothing is working. The president and his friends are busy scheming for the next election. Oppositions, dead and buried. The president's praise singers, drumming down our ears how Tinubu is the best thing to happen to Nigerian. While ordinary Nigerians are walking about as if all is well. Both religious preachers and former activists has gone mute. Hmmmmmm!

I am not please with the way government is playing politics with the power sector. If Government is installing Solar in government houses including Asorock Villa, what is the fate of over 200 million Nigerians? Please President Tinubu, keep to your campaign promise on power supply to Nigeria masses.

What do you expect when the man in charge of the ministry is busy embezzling money for his election in Oyo state?

This country can only get better when there’s consequences for our action regardless of your status… till then this country can never be salvaged even by God

Maybe the National Grid should be decentralized. The National Grid is not actually a bad system of power transmission, because it guarantees reliability of power supply.
The Federal government should ramp up energy mix in the power sector.Most of the GenCos rely on natural gas to fire up their turbines to generate electricity. The present production/supply of natural gas to the GenCos is not enough.Government should woo more investors into the Natural Gas production space.
The Hydro-powered turbines should be upgraded to boost up generation of electricity.
Government should encourage wind farms to generate electricity in the Northern part of the country.But the present high rate of insecurity is a major blocker to this option.
Our Transmission Lines should also be upgraded to carry more load.
The DisCos should improve on their services.They should revamp the overhead distribution lines and substations.Most of the distribution substations are overloaded.How can they distribute power to end users efficiently in that state.Most at times the voltage supply is below the stipulated 230V.
Lastly, each state governors should embark on state-owned power generation project ( IPP).Generate power and feed to your constituents.They can make use of the existing DisCos distribution network.

Our leaders have failed us.

But the fact that I have stated all of these doesn't mean I should close my mouth when Nigeria power problem is degenerating everyday. We never thought the ministry of interior could be better till Tunji Ojo took over the ministry, same with ministry of Works, FCT, including the CBN, and tax reform. So, Adelabu could have done better and he has been a disgrace and such is already affecting his governorship ambition in Oyo state.

Ok. No vex ancestor. The first duty of any president is to secure lives and property. Tinubu once told Jonathan to resign if he can’t fix security. Now it is only those who are alive that can benefit from power if it is fixed. Like I said before pls suggest a replacement for security before the failure of this man you love so much comes to your doorstep. The Fulani who are the slave masters of the Yoruba are already in oyo state
