Nollywood actors and actresses are retiring into poverty after decades in the industry. That is a systemic failure. Where are the Nollywood guilds and industry bodies? They should have long established a dedicated pension scheme for their members yet that conversation is nowhere to be found.

You carefully chose someone widely admired, set up your media team, camera, and lighting, and then showcased the moment. If your goal is truly to help people, it shouldn’t need to be broadcast. Genuine acts of kindness don’t require an audience. You rarely see major philanthropists going out of their way to publicize every good deed just to prove they’re good people. This just comes across as inauthentic, fake and staged to repair your dented reputation

What impact? I am just curious because I know the character he played. As a kid, I could not relate to his charater so there was no chance of me being impacted by it.
