DeepSight:If intent is evaluated in a murder case, intent should be evaluated in a caricature where both white and blacks were depicted as various animals with no exclusivity given to a particular race. It is the same way you subscribe to intent when a white man calls a black man the N word and a slave in a movie. It depicts multiple dems as monkeys including Joe Biden literally shown as a monkey eating a banana, alongside the Obamas and others like Harris and Jeffries. It is not Barack and his husband Michael obama only as apes it's a broad Lion king parody turning a bunch of Democrats of all races into jungle animals/monkeys, with Trump as the lion king. Deal with it. Just as I said earlier, murder trial or a movie scene where a white character calls a black person the N word in context, you judge the whole thing, not isolate and scream racism while ignoring the equal application to Biden. it's political satire targeting Democrats as a group, not a race. If it was truly blacks, Biden wouldn't be munching a banana as a monkey right there with them. You selective outrage focusing only on the Obamas while the full meme hits everyone is the real circus. Facts over feelings. Emotional support animals are lovely you know. |

tctrills:This post. Cringe. Like you just googled it, barely understood what you read yet rewrote it here. The most cringe part? Signing it off as "You are most welcome" as if you made any sense. Under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, soldiers are legally obligated to refuse unlawful orders as they have to only obey lawful ones. They are thought this and trained that way. Your argument seems to be that US Senators whose job is to provide oversight of the Military, reminding soldiers something that they are legally obligated to do and trained as such is a call for "revolution"? The hint that your argument was nonsensical should have been when the Grand Jury who will indict anything chose not to indict and when a Federal Judge already ruled in Kelly's favor. Furthermore, you should really google the First Amendment and Congress's Speech and Debate clause. |

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Democrats out of ideas decided to float their own project 2029 Democrats are copying similar efforts by conservatives during the Biden presidency, such as Project 2025 and America First Legal that many believe enabled the Trump administration to hit the ground running in his second term with a flurry of executive actions. https://www.axios.com/2026/02/01/scoop-democrats-project-2029-names-leader

ijebosb:I don't know how to help you anymore. When the above senators were asked to mention one illegal order that the Trump government had given the military, they all said there was none so clearly you have no Idea. You also showed a shocking level of ignorance by accusing me of using Google as if it's some strange nonsense. The world today depends souch on Google and one would be a goat not to use it. I see you don't use Google. It shows |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by ijebosb: 12:22am On Mar 18*. Modified: 1:22am On Mar 18 |
tctrills:Yes, it's called a reminder. That usually happens before someone needs what the reminder is for. Maybe use 'google' to find the definition of remidner. A reminder after soldiers follow the illegal order wouldn't make sense, abi? And giving what Hegeseth has been doing/saying both in this war and in with Venezuela, it was prescient. I accused you of quickly googling something, not fulling understanding it, yet retyping it here. The problem for you is that your lack of understanding of what you were talking about was glaringly obvious. So, the problem isn't google, it's googling to make a point (a point you don't understand) and failing at it, instead of googling to learn. And fyi, your posts are filled with unnecessarily grandiose words that makes your writing sound forced. It makes you sound like someone trying too hard to punch above his weight/intellect and impress. I don't know your age but you write like ur 16. |

tctrills:You're punching above your knowledge level. Let's see what the current Secretary of Defense had to say about this in 2016. Oh yeah, he said, 'the Military won’t follow unlawful orders’. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBavSlRehOk |

IjeBos:The way you boys make connections that don't exist is a real gift. Please, where did he encourage the military to disobey their leaders? Now watch the video and tell me if they are in any way related https://youtube.com/shorts/Fk9Gh3qwW4I?si=7xfEBcV9VXVUeOzx Do you see the difference now? |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by raumdeuter: 1:53am On Mar 18*. Modified: 2:16am On Mar 18 |
What are illegal orders again? And how will a 21yr old soldier know an illegal order What supreme court judges will argue, elite scholars will argue and sometimes have to split 5-4 on opinions is what you want 20 to 22yr Olds to decide which order is legal and illegal Its where the foolishness and TDS of the Democratic senators have taken them |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by IjeBos(m): 2:02am On Mar 18 |
tctrills:Did you watch it? Maybe try watching it half speed. It may be going too fast for you. Or with closed captions, your hearing may be going. Then point me to part where you think they are telling the soldiers to to do something wrong. You seem to be confused (makes sense you are MAGA). If a commander tells a soldier to rape children and then burn them alive, yes, the Senators would be telling them to disobey that leader. Because they are supposed to disobey that leader because that is an illegal order. Because US soldiers swear an oath to the Constitution, not their military commander. You seem to be confused as to what illegal means in "illegal order". You might want to google it. You can refuse illegal orders You must refuse illegal orders |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by IjeBos(m): 2:06am On Mar 18 |
raumdeuter:Raumdeuter Post Translator: Senators should be telling soldiers to follow every order no matter how illegal they think it is because it's too hard to tell what is not legal. You know who followed all orders.. Nazis. How did that work out for those Nazi soldiers at Nuremburg? You seem to be a man comfortably unburdened by history, facts or deep thought. |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by tctrills: 2:14am On Mar 18 |
IjeBos:I don't know how else to explain inciting the military to you. The video began by telling the military that the government is against the people and then asked them to disobey illegal orders. The word is inciting. Do you understand my short explanation? If you don't, let me offer a longer one below Imagine you’re on a football team. You have a coach, and there’s a rulebook. Even if you think the coach is making a bad call, you can't just stand in the middle of the field and start shouting at your teammates to ignore the coach and start playing by their own rules. If you do that, the whole game falls apart. Nobody knows who to listen to, and your team loses. In the military, that "rulebook" is called the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), and it’s way more serious than a sports game. Here is why many people, especially those who served in the military, feel the senators were wrong: In the military, there is a very strict ladder of who is in charge. This is called the Chain of Command. If a soldier has a problem with an order, there are legal ways to address it, such as talking to a military lawyer (a JAG) or the Inspector General. By making a public video telling soldiers to "dissent" or "disobey," the senators were basically trying to jump into that ladder from the outside. When politicians start talking directly to the troops, telling them which orders to follow, it creates "static" and confusion. A confused army is a dangerous one. When you join the military, you make a promise. Part of that promise is to keep the military out of politics. We don't want an army that picks and chooses which president to listen to based on whether they like their political party. The Senators' Mistake: Because they used to be in the military, they knew how much weight their words would carry. By using their former ranks to tell current soldiers to "disobey," many veterans feel they used their "old uniform" to play politics. To a soldier, that feels like a betrayal of the quiet, professional code we all lived by. There is a specific rule, Article 94 of the UCMJ, about Sedition. That’s when you try to get people to revolt against the government. Now, the senators said they were just telling people to refuse illegal orders. On paper, that's true; you should refuse an illegal order (like an order to hurt a civilian). The Problem: They didn't point to any specific "illegal" order. They just threw the idea out there. To a 14-year-old, it might seem like "standing up for what's right," but to a General or a Sergeant, it looks like someone is trying to start a fire in the barracks just to see what happens. |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by raumdeuter: 2:34am On Mar 18 |
IjeBos:You have never worked in a place with structure anyway The military operates in a chain of command from the president to the defence secretary, Generals down to the privates on the field. You have higher ups debate and come to a decision on what to do Telling 22yr olds on the field to start second guessng what orders the more experienced superiors have debated and decided on is abject foolishness and causes chaos in an organization like the military For example during the chase of Bin Laden, there were several times The president, Defence secretary and Generals disagreed on approach, the debated it and came out with one opinion. Now imagine the President and war cabinet decides to attack a location and the 20 seals who didnt even know where and what the target is, got to Abottabad, then 11 of them refused because they are not sure if the order to kill Bin Laden and his family was legal or not What happens then? This is how the left and the democratic party is pushing insanity all over the society |

raumdeuter:You mean sorta like soldiers listening to a Defense Secretary who tells his soldiers to offer the enemy "no quarter"? That's a war crime. Raumdeuter, the defender of war crimes. |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by raumdeuter: 2:42am On Mar 18 |
IjeBos:If anyone will disagree with the Secretary of war, that will be the president, the Generals the JAGs and Not leave that to 22yr olds on the field who do not have the experience nor education at that level to know. Its above their pay grade, It takes time and experience to know Except its in the mind of an insane left anarchist |

tctrills:+ Sober up. The simple and inescapable fact of the matter is that he was suspended (not sacked) on account of a specific episode of the show where he exposed the insensitivity of Donald Trump to Kirk's death. He didnt't do anything on that episode other than show a clip of Trump being insensitive. That is exactly what led to his suspension, which Trump danced and celebrated. The fact that you failed to mention this well known fact and attributed it to falling ratings instead shows you are the one being unspeakably dishonest. And the fact that you immediately began to accuse me of lying and cheating shows that you are the one who is the teenager. These are the facts and I have nothing to add. |

raumdeuter:So, what the US Military teaches soldiers and what Hegseth said in 2016 was wrong? Soldiers should follow every order? Do you even know what you are arguing? You seem very comfortable subordinating yourself. |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by DeepSight(m): 4:04am On Mar 18 |
IjeBos:+ Even in Nazi Germany, many soldiers refused illegal orders, especially orders to kill innocents and nothing happened to them. They were neither punished or demoted, at best some of them were transferred. If decent men could refuse illegal orders in a Nazi fascist dictatorship, how much more in a supposedly egalitarian democracy? I wonder if these people would argue the same way if the illegal order was to shoot their mother. |
