We didn't hear much about this player again, Lateef Omidiji. He was talked about a lot back then. Likely didn’t make it at the senior level.

So I should cancel my work schedule and other life plans and fly all the way to the stadium of light just to prove a point to who exactly? You? That is st**pidity that I dont subscribe to. My point is made and since you dont deny not standing even 30mins of Burnley vs Sunderland or Leeds vs Wolves, then this proves your hypocrisy on this EPLvsLaLiga matter. Finito. typicalgamer: |

He and his sister Sophia Omidiji were using Media PR back then to push up their visibility but it turns out they were average afterall if not less than average. opes: |

TheSuperNerd:yes of course, he is doing well in Scotland and relatively young (22). He also plays in 2 positions we lack good cover and quality (CAM and CM). I think with the influence of Fernandez we may bag him now that the Danes aren’t thinking about him Have been opportune to watch few of his games since he joined Rangers from Sturm Graz and I must confess that he has quality and good enough for the super eagles |

TheSuperNerd:There was never anything special about those Omidijis. It was all PR to make below average talents look good. Their parents really paid good money to these cheap Nigeria sports sites for promotion. Dude was everywhere in the media as Messi reborn yet even a team as bad as Ikotun FC didn't deem him good enough for a trial let alone sign him. I doubt either of them is attached to any club till date. They even went as far as trying to blackmail our youth team handlers by lying that Sophia was dropped due to favoritism. We have had similar cases and it is always very easy to clock. Before these two, there were cases like Abuchi Obinwa during the preparation of the 2013 U17 world cup. Some of these parents abroad always think the system back home is a joke and once their wards can't get in the teams abroad, they would want to come down here thinking they can bully everyone here for their wards. ![]() Another PR kid that later had his way and still didn't amount to nothing was Habib Makanjuola. |

Fulham plays Burnley in the EPL this saturday (tomorrow) and the last time they met saw Calvin Bassey scoring in Fulham's 3-2 win right before he went away for the Afcon.

Let's flip this argument if it was Okoye. In essence, you're saying we should condone Okoye's new style of choosing which matches and competitions to show up for? Wow! What a way to improve the team. 👍 Abi no be so? ![]() ChrisKels: |

Already crowning a lad who chose club over country as our numero uno while picking issues with one who shows absolute commitment to the GWG shows you are not out to improve the Super Eagles afterall. Na just agenda u dey run.
