Absolute freedom is the kind of religious beliefs that allows you practice your religion in the heart rather than practicing it to please people or to get validation from people. John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The concept of the spirit is simply your believe in God which is done in the heart and not in activities for men to see. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. How do you practice Christianity to please people? 1. By going to church regularly for men to see 2. By praying long and noisy prayers so that people will hear you or see you as religious : note that being religious does not translate to being a good person. Neither can it give you salvation. 3. By involving in religious activities like joining choir, being an usher, being an elder or associate pastor without prior understanding as to why you are doing those things. At the end, you are being exploited by the church founder who continues to be enriched by your activities in church, while you go home poorer and empty. 1 Samuel 8:11 And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots..... Humans will always be humans, they will exploit you while you smiling and suffering. But at the other way round, if you worship your God in spirit and in truth by believing in your heart without involving anybody, and let your pastors worship their God in spirit and in truth the same manner, without you going to them. Then the issue of exploitation will be out of it, and you will practice your religion in absolute freedom. |

Some of your points are fallacious. Is joining the choir or becoming an usher ungodly? Going to church regularly or once in a while is not automatically ungodly. Going to church regularly can be godly and going to church irregularly can be ungodly. |

immortalcrown:I didn't use the word ungodly Going to church regularly or once in a while is not automatically ungodly. Going to church regularly can be godly and going to church irregularly can be ungodly.once again! I didn't use the word ungodly. Rather, I use the term absolute freedom. As much as it is godly to be devoted to a church, your freedom should be your number 1 priority. Any church that want to subject you into perpetual bondage, you have the right to say no. Think about it |

paxonel:Some of your points are fallacious. 1. Is joining the choir or becoming an usher against freedom? 2. Who do you know that ever joined choir or became an usher without knowing what he or she was to do in the choir or as an usher? Going to church regularly or once in a while is not automatically against freedom. Going to church regularly can be a manifestation of freedom and going to church irregularly can be a manifestation of captivity. |

TokoEkambi:The post condemns the acts of going to church regularly, joining choir, becoming an usher and becoming an elder in the church, as if those acts are bad on godly in all cases. Can you explain the exact problem you have with my comment? |
