Pedrop:But they can't supply sufficient gas to our gencos to deliver electricity. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by chucky101(m): 4:05pm On Mar 21 |
A daft project. That pipeline would be an easy target for Islamic jihadists. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by fxexperts: 6:17pm On Mar 21 |
chucky101:You are right. Islamic Jihadist sponsored by Russia. Now some of you are seeing the handwriting on the wall. 43Ronin:Do you pay electricity bills or you just by pass your meter and steal from the genco then you are expecting free electricity. nor be JUJU be that. 43Ronin:. You are right, the Nigerian government and the people are the major problem here. The citizens commit electricity theft and they do not see anything wrong in it. How then do you expect the gencos to survive? |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by fxexperts: 6:24pm On Mar 21 |
Pedrop:No your people are the problem. Are you ready to pay for electricity or are you not among those who bypass their meter to enjoy free electricity? Funny enough, all these gencos are running at a huge loss. So how do you expect the government to continue giving them free gas when they are not paying for it? fineboynl:Who told you they are buying it for peanuts, they are buying it at market price. Your lord and saviour Russia that has been selling gas to them all these years nko. is he selling them for peanuts? Katell:Some of you people just love to talk anyhow. Can you pay for the gas and the electricity? or you will just bypass your meter and ensure the electricity company runs at a huge loss. |

fxexperts:gas pipe line of 20b doesn't worth it. |

patrickcollins:The project is currently ongoing. people like you just love to talk without doing research. patrickcollins:You think you will be in your house to feel the impact. sesanrota:So why was the one from Russia not blown at will. But now that it is coming from Africa it will be blown at will. You can see that the black race are natural born witches that do not want their own progress. oroje1:Because in Nigeria we want to get everything for free. The people in the country, citizens and governmnet are so messed up. Emeka71:The ones they have supplied have you paid for your electricity bill? |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by OneCandleAway(f): 8:13pm On Mar 21 |
fxexperts:Why accuse someone of by pass, without evidence you just want to insult |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by 123papas(m): 8:40pm On Mar 21 |
43Ronin:Nope, the should establish 18 gas turbines in imo and transmit the power to the other geopolitical zones, it is much cheaper that way. Una wan shortchange Imo state. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by 123papas(m): 8:43pm On Mar 21 |
Electricity theft is not the main issue here. The main issue is electricity subsidy. Nigerians are too poor to pay for electricity and government is oweing the gencos fxexperts: |

fxexperts:Failure will always look for flimsy excuse to cover up. I am not surprised. You are free to continue defending your failure. That may likely be your source of survival. But within you, you know throwing the country into darkness for 2 months is the lowest. Keep on with your defence so that the crumbs won't stop dropping. I wish you all the best |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by 43Ronin: 11:09am On Mar 22 |
fxexperts:I dont know what's wrong with you tinubu supporters. The nigerian populace only owes 3 billion to Gen cos while the FG through its MDAs, military barracks etc owes them 47 billion naira. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by fxexperts: 11:59am On Mar 23 |
43Ronin:So everyone who points out your fault to you is now a Tinubu supporter abi. Thank God you have said already that the populace are owing 3 billion. Is three billion a small amount? The Governmnet and the populace have failed the economy. and you really think governmnet is not budgeting money for its MDAS to pay those genco fees. But what happens at the end of the day. The same citizens steal the show. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by fxexperts: 12:06pm On Mar 23 |
Katell:If they keep me and you know, i will not be surprise you are begging me for lunch. the problem with you people is that you all have jusy blidfolded your mind and never wants to learn, continue in ignorance then. In the western world where Power is not a problem do they bypass meters there. do their people behave the way you people behave in Nigeria. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by fxexperts: 2:19pm On Mar 23 |
123papas:You are seeing the long list of the problems. that s also a part of the problem. So hence the reason the governmnet has decided to sell the gas to who will give them more profit. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by fxexperts: 2:21pm On Mar 23 |
OneCandleAway:Is that not want is currently going on in the country. Even when customers do not bypass the Nepa official will steal the remaining money. All the money budgeted for prepaid meters, where are they now? These are the issues. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by Katell: 2:40pm On Mar 23 |
fxexperts:At least their government has the basic discipline not to rack up a $32 million debt to private electricity companies. Maybe start there. Instead of obsessing over how DISCOs should plug revenue leakages, tell your master to do the bare minimum by paying up what is owed. You don’t fix a broken system by dodging your own bill while preaching accountability to others. Let’s be clear: this mess didn’t appear out of nowhere. It’s the direct result of leaders who think obligations are optional. If your master had settled that debt, we wouldn’t be having this conversation about darkness in the first place. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by fxexperts: 8:06pm On Mar 23 |
fineboynl:Are you the one to tell businesspeople to spend their money? Do you know how much trillions of dollars tthat pipeline will bring? |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by SeizeTheMemes: 9:37pm On Mar 23 |
43Ronin:I couldn't agree more. It isn't in the in the interests of these elites to actually fix the country they just want to extract as much as they can from it. This is not a problem that voting can fix because the whole structure is rotten. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by 43Ronin: 9:43pm On Mar 23 |
fxexperts:If the nigerian populace is owing 3 billion, but aso rock, military barracks, CBN amd other MDAs are owing 47 billion, then its the nigerian government that is the major cause of the problem not the ordinary nigerians. You made it seem like it was ordinary nigerians meanwhile aso rock has not been paying its bills. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by 43Ronin: 9:46pm On Mar 23 |
SeizeTheMemes:Very rotten my guy. The Gas & hydro powering the country is our resource, but rather than fix NEPA, they sell it and pocket the money. Look at lekki deep sea port and Tin can that just got a loan of 750million pounds, do you know that chagrin owns major stake in that port, but we are collecting loan to help develope a private business blood must be shed before nigeri can work |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by fxexperts: 2:55pm On Mar 24 |
43Ronin:The government is at fault in the same way the citizens are at fault. You are not taking into account those people who use to bypass their meter and steal power. |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by fxexperts: 3:01pm On Mar 24 |
Katell:Who is the master you are talking about. So the whole debt started in 2023 abi. you all just talk as if your masters too were not part of this whole process. Why is it that successive governments have so far refused to pay bills, and what about you, the individuals who bypass your matter, or that one doesn't matter too? |
| Re: FG Advances $20 Billion Nigeria-Europe Gas Pipeline Talks by Katell: 6:35pm On Mar 24 |
fxexperts:When you take over, you inherit both assets and liabilities. The same way you gladly pocket the assets, you are supposed to settle the inherited liabilities instead of passing the buck to those who left. After all, they didn’t walk away with the assets either. You’re asking who the master is, yet bending over backwards to defend the blackout and unpaid bill. Interesting. All this talk about past governments and individuals is just noise. Nobody said others are blameless. The question is simple and still unanswered: why hasn’t your master paid what is owed? Your master is owing 92.5% of the debt that thrown the nation into darkness for almost 2 months while the citizen whom you channel your energy on is responsible for 7.5% Until you can answer that without running in circles, everything else you’re saying is just decoration. |
