If you like don't humble yourself and do the needful, you think here is your fathers house where you can do whatever you like.
Sincere apologies🙏
I thought you were not wise alone. I’m just realising you’re extremely ignorant too.

So everyone with a non-STEM degree goes to wash dishes in Canada?

Hello everyone,

Minor children applicants have been waiting since November 2025. Anyone in the same boat with me. I have sent webforms, asked MP to help checking with IRCC, called IRCC agents myself but to no avail.

It's hard oooo

Thanks a lot.

Please considering my non-STEM major, BSc Business Administration, what kind of jobs will I be accessible to me in Canada?
You would need to find a job in one of the sectors the government has identified as a priority category.

I don’t know your skill set or what you are best suited for that part is entirely up to you, boss

Sorry, there is not enough context, but from what I understand, you are asking about getting a study permit for your child. What visa are you currently on?

IRCC can be annoying but patience is what IRCC will make someone have annoying but that's them ..

and also MP will likely not do much in this situation. Technically, anyone can contact a local MP’s office, but in most cases, they are more responsive to Canadian citizens since they are the voting members of their constituency.

MPs can request updates or make inquiries.........hey are politicians, after all.

but they cannot make IRCC speed up applications....

I get you but only 22895 is locked na, he will still have access to the remaining 17,105 from the 40k...

Although there is a clause to the access, he needs to visit a branch in Canada and have a student permit to get his money else they will return the money the way it come in.

I also added more than 22,895 to the GIC account for personal reasons.

I was in Canada recently and book a session at the bank lucky for me the scheduled me with a Nigerian who schooled in the same city am going to and she was very helpful on hints of the city. Although, she advice to do GIC for the GIC amount only which is 22,875 + wire fee of the bank you wanna use(my bank wire fee was 17.5)...

AbelAbdul:
He said he puts 40k CAD in the GIC acct. If na true say he put 40k CAD in GIC and his tuition is in that 40k CAD, oyo na him be him case

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by dsureguy: 7:55am On Mar 23
Omw, easy na

amnotapervert:
LMIA has casted and in her case will not work that smooth
So in summary, it’s still what I said: if she cannot secure admission and a new study permit before her current school ends, she should book the next flight to Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) AKA MMA 1

Hi everyone, I just got admitted to a university in Ontario. I have my school fees of 24k
Plus, but that’s all I have. Now I want to run POF for my living expenses which is 23k cad. They are ready to give me certificate of investment that matured over 180 days and was deposited into my bank account as a lump sum . My issue is will I have to prove to ircc where I got the money I invested?

I’ll delete this soon.

At this stage, does the applicant need to go to SCID for biometrics?

It will.

They are meant to send you a mail or SMS telling you when to go to SCID for your biometric

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by dsureguy: 1:47pm On Mar 23
Short answer is YES...

so far it make sense to them, no issue... but if it doesn't; that's where the issue starts from. My visit visa, I applied for a family of 3 with a lump sum, and I didn't hear from IRCC for like 4 months. After I did a web form to include my payslip, which I believe proves I could have had such reserves. I got the visa after a few days of uploading my payslip via webform.

So a lump sum is not an issue if there is good and meaningful justification, e.g., employment payslip, source of invested money, etc.

Study permits for them.
You should be able to prove dual intent since you have permanent resident applications submitted already for them to IRCC,Temporary residents are required to leave Canada at the end of stay.

Your question is very confusing please explain it more clearly so we can understand and get proper context.

Who is the They issuing the certificate of investment?

How long is your program ?

what school is university in Ontario?? do you mean Ontario Tech University

generally Ontario Tech University is an expensive school Mindblowing I know are you aware of that ?

What is the total tuition fee for the 1 or 2 years of your program?

Algoma University "Saint Ste Marie", Ontario
Ontario Tech University "Oshawa", Ontario
Saint Mary's University "Halifax", Nova Scotia

Which of them would you advise one to go for and why?

All courses are Tech courses.

Masters Program. All are TECH COURSES.

I asked you based on school reputation and location. Forget the fees,, I know Ontario is most expensive among the 3

I am more of a city person, though that might be costly for some. If I had to choose and money wasn’t an issue, I would go with Ontario Tech University, which is in Oshawa the “armpit” of Ontario 😂 (that’s what they call it).

After your first job, no one really cares about the name of the university where you got your master’s in Canada it’s more about your experience and overall skills.

Another reason I would choose to do a master’s in Ontario (regardless of the school) is because on March 18, 2026, Ontario (OINP) conducted a significant draw for the Master’s Graduate stream, inviting 582 candidates with a minimum score of 30.

This was the first draw for this stream since September 2024.

These PNP Provincial Nominee Program targeted draws focused on international student graduates with specific Canadian work experience, who did masters in Ontario also and profiles created between July 2, 2025, and March 16, 2026.

https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontario-immigrant-nominee-program-oinp-invitations-apply

So I want to keep all the best possible options open both ways.
