If you look deeply, a single Mum having a child may not be the main issue of many guys, but below may be the issue many guys avoid single Mums in marriage.

(1) Fear of she cheating with her baby daddy: Do you know how painful it may be loving and supporting a single Mum only to discover she is sleeping with her baby daddy who may be so irresponsible.

(2) Fear of not being a father to her child or children: If after a man marries a single Mum and treats her child or children so well like a true father, and gets dumped in the future because he is not their biological, such may be so painful to him.

(3) Fear of divided emotions: A single Mum may be emotionally connected to both her husband and baby daddy. This might make her husband feel unsafe in the marriage; and if he expressed his concern, there may be outburst that he is just being insecure.


As a lady, never accept to get pregnant before marriage, no matter the promises given. Just avoid pre-marital sex. Again, if baby Daddies had married their baby Mamas, this issue may have subsided.

Many single mothers are on a revenge mission and some that unfortunately have daughters end up teaching their daughters to hate and use men with so much hate and crafty attitude.
The final lesson they impact on their daughters is to encourage them to leave any marriage or relationship that they cannot controll the man, after all their mother trained their daughters singlehandedly.

This is not between me and you. You are failing to consider the general impact including all the men who lack self control. Stop asking women to be virgins while you don't put the same pressure on men to be virgins too. The men who lack self control will make it chaotic when they start going for it by force. You are very very right it's more easier to raise a son by a single mother compared to raising a daughter, but if there is no strong discipline when a single mother raises a son then ur guess is as good as mine.
Mind you not all single mothers are damaged goods as I have seen some single mothers who went through he'll to be a good single mother. Circumstances can do a lot of damage and you can't necessarily blame the mother.

I so much like all of the comments I read so far and God Bless Brotherhood.. if this thread/topic can spread to reach everywhere it will be so good maybe this will serve as caution to most of our ladies that 97% of men do not want to have anything to do with single mother ( exclude Widow and the cause for her being a widow needs to be studied) . I so much want one woman to have me all of my children and not have additional kid or children from another father.. those ladies that are single mothers are not ready to stay with a man , they sees themselves better off the man they want to marry or stay with it , they want to be free and not controlled, they switch Sides , them feminist, bad parenting and bad influence.. you will see many of this single mother teaching their mates to leave, if the man is not this , he's not that forgetting we're coming together to form a team and accept our shortcomings and amend things but No .. they think life will be always smooth and man must always ready to provide .. when you asked them why you left your baby father , answers will be , he's not responsible, he's not doing this , he's not doing that .. I can never marry a single mother Never will I do that because she will not stay .. the one that have me my only daughter was not a single mother but her brain is wired to be a single mother , she preferred to be at her parent house ( as I even rush to build my personal house , when I found she's pregnant.. I can't even say this is what I did wrong but she wanted to be free and not be under anybody's controll, monetarily, I tried ( 30k-25k every 10days ) but she chooses her parent house and her mum is in support . Her dad could not say a word against her action because her mom is the boss at their house .I just had to pause and keep observing afar off .. I don't chase her , no any form of domestic violence from me to her, nothing, so pathetic, men.. You are just contradicting yourself and saying rubbish. If women are the custodians of sex then they are doing men a favour when they allow men have sex with them.

Tell your fellow men to zip up and stop disturbing women for sex. It doesn't make sense asking women to be virgins while men keep disturbing women for sex. If you can't tell men to abstain from sex then stop asking women to be virgins. The ecosystem wouldn't work when women are becoming virgins and men don't want to be virgins.

The only way a man raised by a single mother can be upright is when there is a responsible and respectable male figure in the background. In the form of an uncle,step father or an upright male figure. Anything other than these, can lead that young man astray.
