I don't see any proliferation of preachers on tik Tok, it takes grace to have meaningful foloowership and viewers on social media. If he sure for u, go open your own and see. Instead what I see is proliferation of apologetic preachers all on side of religion including those antagonizing xtianity. |

---Joblessness is a disease indeed---everyone wants easy money from the same social media space most Pastors have condemned as evil--- |

Jesus said, "go into the all the world and preach the gospel to every creature". (The Great commission) Not just pastors, every Christian is expected to preach the gospel on social media in his or her own way. It's just that some people are specially called to preach and teach God's Word as pastors, teachers, evangelists, etc. If they do that online, it's all in a bid to fulfill the great commission given by Jesus. However, many people call themselves into ministry mainly for financial benefits, it's common especially in poverty stricken areas like Nigeria. However, refrain from judgement, and let God be the judge. |

ajalawole:So we should stop going to church because you stopped? You forget that God blesses both the good and the bad. He causes the sun and rain to shine and fall on everyone. This doesn't mean that you should continue to sin, so that grace may be plenty. That God "has been good" to you in your eight years outside the church doesn't mean He hasn't been good to others still attending church. So, your argument doesn't hold water. You found 'peace' outside, some find peace inside. And if they tell you the truth, you will dislike them too. It's up to you to come back to God in a church that suits you. Not to stay away from him. |

And what is wrong with that? The people who are looking for miracles are not complaining, why taking medicine for someone else's headaches? What is wrong with you people? Humans will naturally gravitate towards anything that gives them hope especially in a country that is bent on eliminating them at every opportunity it has. What is your business with how they choose to propagate the gospel? What is your concern? Why don't you go and start your own movement or ministry? You are only able to notice these people because you don't have what you are doing, you're idle and jobless. VDM, Aproko Doc, saidaboj, ola , and the rest have found their niche, find yours and stop fooling yourself up and down. |

Everyone already knows the gospel the do and don’ts, these explosion of pastors would only worsen poverty and misery, Africans should go and do the needful and help their lives, somehow we as a race came into this world with a strong curse that kills progress and good living, na when we reach heaven we go ask God that one… |

ajalawole:God is good to both the righteous and unrighteous even when a person chooses to be wicked God won't stop supplying oxygen for the wicked to breathe and stay alive. Matthew 5:45 The activities of the church has a totally different purpose, in the world if you're working and opportunities comes your way and you are able to make good use of it surely you will grow financially. The church is about salvation which no man can see without the church! |

MaxInDHouse:yes..and how does that relate to this thread |
| Re: The Rise Of “tiktok Pastors”: What’s Happening? by MaxInDHouse(m): 8:11am On Mar 22 |
femi4:Jesus handed over the spiritual feeding of his sheep (followers) to a group of people called "Apostles" and the later always arrange for the followers of Christ to gather and eat the spiritual food. Hebrews 10:24-25 I have been watching your comments lately and from my observation it's clear that you have intense hatred for those taking the lead in the churches as if there is no single church that's doing the work Jesus assigned to his Apostles. Matthew 28:20 Do you still attend the gathering of faithful people at all? If so what is the name of your church?🤔 |

MaxInDHouse:May be I should share the mind of the writer with you cos obviously you didn't pay attention to details From observation, Pentecostal Christian communities appear particularly active in this space. On the surface, this may seem beneficial for the spread of Christianity. However, a deeper look raises concerns. The motivations behind some of these activities often show signs of personal aggrandisement and financial opportunism. |
| Re: The Rise Of “tiktok Pastors”: What’s Happening? by MaxInDHouse(m): 8:27am On Mar 22 |
That is the mind of the writer i'm talking about you in person. Do you still believe in the church of Christ? If so what church do you attend now? It's easy to criticize what we see but do you think about the first century disciples of Christ as in how they proved to be so gullible and delusional while following a young man of about 32 years who is younger than most of them? So if you were alive in the first century would you have followed Jesus whose teachings was causing a lot of confusion among his people?🙂 femi4: |
