Babygal2020:I requested for withdrawal from both stanbic and gtb mmf on 23/03/2026, stanbic credited me on 23/03/2026 around 2pm. GT MMF is yet to credit me till this moment.🥲 Also I noticed that for stanbic MMF, there’s transparency with how your interest is shown, you see your interest as a line item in your account transaction history & even when you download your statement you will see your subscriptions, redemptions & interest amount seperately. But for GT MMF your interest is just added to your balance, it’s not shown in your account transaction history as an inflow at all & I don’t like that style. Even when i downloaded my statement, there was no breakdown for interest, you will only see your subscriptions & redemptions amount. I’ve been using stanbic for a longtime & but I joined GT MMF this year because of the rate which was 17% earlier this year but as at today, stanbic mmf rate is 15.43%, while GT mmf rate is 15.48% & I’m wondering what’s the point of joining GT🥲 |
| Re: Mutual Funds by sky404: 5:46am On Mar 24 |
You wanted to write 2am of 24/03/2026; & NOT 2pm. cos we have NOT gotten to 2pm of 24/03/2026 yet. stephano100: |
| Re: Mutual Funds by djavo(m): 6:41am On Mar 24 |
david4mex:Looks like figures are not adding up for GT MMF after the holidays. In my case, I noticed that I was credited with two days interest as of 8pm 23rd March. Fast forward to this morning 24th March at 5am, they added one more day interest. Leaving two more days interest outstanding for the holiday period of 18th March to 23rd March. I wish they can be very transparent on their portal by itemising investment progress. I am fed up with having a calculator at hand everytime I logged into their portal. They should take a leaf from Cowrywise way of itemising their MMF. |

| Re: Mutual Funds by stephano100(m): 2:43pm On Mar 24 |
sky404:Oops sorry, it was 23/03/2026 I meant to write. Stanbic MMF credit me same day in the afternoon by 2pm. I requested for redemption in the morning. GT MMF just credited my today 24/03/2026 by 12pm |
| Re: Mutual Funds by freegaza(m): 4:21pm On Mar 24 |

djavo:This is the reason why some of us stick with good old stanbic. The fund manager that does not know weekends or public hols. Their fund managers dont even sleep because 12am automatically gbam, huge alert. Meanwhile the likes of STL and trustbanc, they credit you as the spirit leads. It get to a point you even stop tracking. You just leave them for God 😂😂. Didn’t know GTB is like that too For first ally, they let you log in as the spirit leads. Every day you have to reset username and password. Una dey try sha |

Which magic did FAAM do?? I no understand am Creditalerts: |
| Re: Mutual Funds by GboyegaD(m): 6:19pm On Mar 24 |
djavo:I just started investing and I am currently using the GT MMF. One thing I learned to do daily is to update my excel file just to have an idea how/what is going on. I might check the Cowry Wise one too so that I can diversify when next I have some funds I can set aside. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Creditalerts: 7:59pm On Mar 24 |
Stockhunter:if you check your today accrued interest of FAAM you will understand 😘 |
| Re: Mutual Funds by doggedfighter(f): 8:06pm On Mar 24 |
Hi Iamblessed8888:No Trustbanc slander will be allowed.😁 They've been delivering with accuracy everyday. And very detailed too. First Ally, very smooth For STL, Creditalerts they said your people are one kind one kind. What sayest thou ? |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Iamblessed8888: 8:38pm On Mar 24 |
doggedfighter:Ok ok no slander just for this week. Heads up, dont expect any reasonable response from that guy. There’s nothing he cannot say just for referral crumbs |
| Re: Mutual Funds by FRANKLYex: 9:08pm On Mar 24 |
Iamblessed8888:What you don't know in above you. SLT is running very well. Whatever they declare is what you get per day, no omission even throughout the holiday. 20.33% as of today |
| Re: Mutual Funds by bassdow: 10:16pm On Mar 24 |
GboyegaD:it's cause you just started. After a while, you might not even remember to log onto your account for weeks. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by bassdow: 10:20pm On Mar 24 |
Iamblessed8888:Had a hard laugh reading this comment of yours. ReCall I complain of such on few occassions from one of these fund manager. True True, after a while, me just leave them. I no even get strength complain. anyDay I logon, anything I see, i take am like that. That way, I no go grow gray hair ontop MMF matter. Even their SSL certificate be like say na every 6 or 7 days e dey expire. Just tried to log-in and met the error page and e sure me say na till late tomorrow morning. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by GboyegaD(m): 10:26pm On Mar 24 |
bassdow:You are right though. Sometimes too, it could be that while bored at work, it is a past time to do. I will keep your thoughts in mind and when that time comes, it wouldn't be a surprise anymore. BTW, do you have a suggestion for USD investment? |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Iamblessed8888: 10:43pm On Mar 24 |
bassdow:My brother, i just tire. If you try to change your username and you use the old one, it will say user exists, but if you log in with it, it will say wrong username. I just abandoned the app. Recommending these apps without warning innocent users of what they are walking into is just wickedness. To find any of these Fintech fund managers that does not withhold interest for days is by connection. I was shocked to hear GTB sef has same wahala. Before now i was even considering them as an alternative to stanbic. Nothing dey outside true true |
| Re: Mutual Funds by coolestDre(m): 11:39pm On Mar 24 |
midupe:They discontinued the FBN Edge/Quest app, the communication was terrible by the way. The new app is called First Edge, the user interface is quite fresh. Uninstall FBN Edge, install First Edge. Getting in wasn't the easiest for me though. Took days of back and forth. They updated people's Customer IDs a while back. If you're not sure what your new ID is, reach out to their customer service. The chance of getting into the new app also improves when you try late at night, less traffic then. Lastly, you may face another issue when resetting your password. Your password can be rejected even when it meets all the conditions. A simple fix is to try different symbols until one works. It's pathetic, I know. Stanbic and FBN are the two MMF giants, they are necessary evils. Good luck. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Creditalerts: 1:16am On Mar 25 |
doggedfighter:standard procedure/process to liquidate your MMF is between 2-3 working days, and I repeat If you are hungry, broke and impatience you have no business with MMF or financial investments 🤣🤣🤣 |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Creditalerts: 1:31am On Mar 25 |
FRANKLYex:one thing about @Iamblessed8888 he is a 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 and he loves my attention but I will continue to starve him 🤣🤣🤣that guys brain is on child lock function 🤣🤣🤣🤣 avoid am na local champion 🏆😅 |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Creditalerts: 1:55am On Mar 25 |
The two top MMF this quarter with unbeatable rate are: STL MMF 🤑🤑🤑🤑💥💥💥 🔥 TRUSTBANC 🤑🤑🤑💥💥💥 Others are struggling for third place. But I will give third place firmly to FAAM by FirstAlly because of their seamless and topnotch services and nice rate also 🤑🤑💥✌🏾 |
