Hi, guys, I'm really considering getting a pixel 9. But there are lots of issues about the phone I see on reddit about overheating, poor battery life, many software features not working outside the US, and just want to know what your experiences are. I used a pixel 3 back in 2022/3 I don't think I had any software problems with it and really liked it though it had a poor battery life, a combination of its old age and original small battery size. I don't want to spend so much to get a pixel 9 only to regret it especially since they're so difficult to find a buyer for. I'll appreciate any insight I can get.

If it isn't, then on what essence would it be termed a flagship device at the year it was released.

Google already informed us its device isn't a gaming or hardcore benchmarking device, rather a software baddie and photography legend.

Flagship status does not make it a daily driver. it just means it is the best that the OEM has to offer for that year. I cannot game nor do heavy tasks on a phone, so wetin i come dey use am do? Pixels get hot and laggy with extended heavy use. if you are not buying tjem for pictures and cute A.I gimmicks, stay away.

I agree with you, I have used several pixel phones and ran away to either OnePlus or Samsung.
